Are there any hair products that help protect hair from my daily use of using my hair straightener?

My hair has visible damage from my daily use of my flat iron. Each and every hair of mine has split ends all along the length of the hair. I would like to find something that would help protect my hair, that I can put on everyday before straightening it.Are there any hair products that help protect hair from my daily use of using my hair straightener?

get rid of the iron. there's a cream or foam that straigtens your hair and it keeps straight for as long as you hair is there, you have to keep ising it every time it grows tho but it keeps it nice.
I have been a hair designer for many yrs. Use a light serum like Paul Mitchell ';super skinny';. Heat protection, shine, and detangling. If you have an Ulta they carry it. Also, there is a flat iron by a company called sedu. I never see broken split ends no matter what kind of hair I use it on. Good luck!
Yes there is because I use some products some names are ceramic silk thermal protection whitch you can find at Sally's if you have one, or there are products by CHI, or something called rusk thermal ceramic healing tools, and use good quality shampoo not cheap stuff some cheap stuff is dove, VO5, panteen pro v, use products by matrix, chi, joico, just to name a few they cost more but if you love your hair its a must.
You need to use a shampoo and conditioner with extra moisturizer in it. Try Sunsilk Hydra TLC. I have very dry hair, which is what a flat iron does to your hair, and I use it. I haven't had a split end since I started using it. Even my new hairdresser didn't realize I dye my hair until I changed the color of my highlights, because my hair is so healthy. (I started seeing her about 6 months ago, after I started using Sunsilk.)


There are also styling products in this line that you can use.

ok so realistically we can't just throw away our flat irons! c'mon. but making sure your using good professional products for shampoo and conditioner will help. ask your stylist about a deep conditioner u could use once or twice a week. there are also products called thermal protectants that u can spray on dry hair before u run the flat iron through it. also try wearing your straightened hair for more than one day. you really dont have to wash dry and reflatten every single day. another thing is keeping up on your hair trims. every 4-6 weeks a half an inch should be taken off to maintain a hair style and if your trying to grow it longer get a half inch taken off every 2-3 months. regular trims will help keep the split ends at bay. also make sure you are using a ceramic flat iron. good luck
Loreal Paris Hot Straight is a great heat protecting cream that not only protects from the heat, but also helps straighten the hair. I use it and apply it o my damp hair before blowdrying.





Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight Flat Out Finishing Spray is a product I like using if I didn't apply the Loreal Paris Hot Straight because I thought I wanted to do something else to my hair or if my hair has been dry for quite some time. All you do is spray it into your hair and use the flat iron and it helps to straighten the hair.





There is also Sunsilk ThermaShine Spray which protects the hair from heat. You spray with your damp hair and it protects from the flat iron or curling irons, but doesn't help to straighten.

Use Paul Mitchel Super Skinny Serum.


You put it in your hair when your hair is mostly wet, before you blowdry or straighten it. After your hair is dry, your hair doesn't feel greasy at all. 1 bottle is about $15, but it will last you about a year. You only use 1-2 pumps of it at a time.
There are quite a few products that can help. First though, you should stop using the flat iron for a few days and use some intesive hydrating shampoo to let your hair recover. You should be able to find products by V05, L'Oreal, and many other brands. I wasn't able to find them online, but they should have them at your local drugstore or department store.
I straighten my hair everyday, and here are the products I use, they make my hair look gorgeous and healthy.. and i use them in this order.. They're all Garnier Fructis. First I use their sleek%26amp;shine leave in conditioner after I blowdry my hair. Then I straighten. Then I put in their Smoothing Milk. Then straighten again. Then their shine spray to finish! I swear by all of these!
