Which hair straightener do you recommend?

Ok, so I have had two straighteners so far and they were made of really cheap material and just did not work after only two months. So I am looking for a good, effective hair straightener that will actually last. I've heard about the Sedu, T3, FHI, CHI, and Solia, and I really don't know what to choose. So which do you recommend?? Thanks in advance!Which hair straightener do you recommend?
I use the Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Straightener. It's a wonderful straightener that actually causes less damage to your hair. I absolutely recommend it. I give it a full five out of five stars. Of course, there's the GHD and the Sedu, but those are really expensive and that's the only reason I didn't get them. But they probably work better than the Solia. I recommend not getting the CHI. I didn't like it all that much. First off, you can't set your own temperature on it. So you don't have control over how much heat if going to your hair. And the CHI get's real hot, so it causes more heat damage. Here's a tip, don't ever go for drug-store brands such as Conair, Revlon, Bedhead, Remington, etc. They're usually very bad quality wise. So all in all, if you're looking for straightener that is fairly inexpensive, yet effective and good, then you should totally go for the Solia. But if you're willing to shell out those extra bucks, then go for the GHD or the Sedu. And if you're choosing between those two, then go for the GHD.

Here's the Solia I bought (I bought it from this site too):

Additional Info:

And before I straighten or apply any heat to my hair, I use the Silk Infusion or Biosilk heat protection solution. The silk infusion is better though.

And if you want everything to stay in place, then use CHI helmet head hairspray:

Id recommend a GHD personally because it works super well on my curls. CHI is also good , so I was told by my stylist. You can get em real cheap on spaionic.com. They have incredible deals! My stylist got all her chi's from there and I got my PurpleGHD for only 100$ :) best of luck!
any ceramic, 100% ceramic, works, but a nice hair straighter doesnt mean, you have to pay like 100$ for one. and u shouldn't straighten your hair much, it can dry it out. and if your hairs curly, let it be curly, let it be natural.
Chi.

I have a Chi and my friend has a Fhi and mine works way better!

Chis leave your hair soft, shiny, and strait.

Best of all it doesn't burn your hair, and that's a really good thing!

So I would go with a Chi if I were you.:)
i have a CHI and it was worth the money. if you do get a new straightener i suggest getting it in black because black heats better and usually faster. i hope this helps!
Definitely GHD! It is the best Straightener! I recommend it entirely! Thanks! :D
a ceramic ghd they are definately the best and last for ages!
Conair for sure ( still works very well after a year )

or CHI.
CHI is always the best!!
the CHI works great, even on really curly frizzy hair like mine!
Bed head=D
i use sedu and it works great!
