Hair straighteners?????

i want a nice one tht is cheap and will keep your hair straight for a long time, any suggestions?Hair straighteners?????
well the easiest straightener is the Con-air Wet to Straight which straightens your hair while its wet with no blow drying. And if you want to blow dry your hair the Chi straighteners are good too they are small and light weight and they are not that expensive.

** Hope I could help!!!!**

Hair straighteners?????
Hair straighners can get annoying so I use Sunsilk staraight up Creme and Shampoo and Conditioner. It helps keep my hair shiny glossy and straight
remington wet to straight
remington wet to straight

just look online for one around u like google

Hair straighteners?

i am 13 and i luv straightening my hair as i have wavy hair. i have andrew collinge straighteners which arent that gd and im not alound to get ghds as my mum thinks its a waste of money can any1 recommed some good hair straighteners? and what is the difference between normal straighteners and ceramic ones ?Hair straighteners?
I have a pair of Trevor Sorbie ceramic straighteners, they were around 拢45 (I think) from Boots. My sister has GHDs and in my opinion they are no better than mine and mine were almost half the price!

Also, it isn't true that ceramic straighteners will not damage your hair. You still need to use a good heat protector spray before you use them (I use Toni %26amp; Guy, 拢6ish from Boots/Superdrug).Hair straighteners?
Hi there

I just upgraded my straighteners - my hair's a nightmare! There are 2 reasons why GHD ones are supposed to be so good - they are really hot, and they're ceramic. I got some Babyliss ones that were about 拢30 which are ceramic and go up to 230 degrees C - about the same as the GHDs. I can't believe how good they are. I've had a go on my friend's GHDs, and I think my 拢30 are just as good.

The other thing to remember is that you have to use a straighteners spray so that you don't dry out your hair. There's a good one by Lee Stafford or Tony and Guy (all in Boots).

Have fun!
Ceramic are best...I have a conair and a revlon and they both work great.
get jml hair straighteners.they're just like ghd, only cost me 鈧?0.trust me theye're great
I personally think its down to technique. Ask athe the hairdressers the best way to straighten your hair. Remember to use protective spray as well.

I bought some hair clamps as my hair is thick and wavy to section it up.
ceramic straighteners get hotter than the normal ones ask your mum to get you the GHD,s as thy are kinder to your hair as you will use them less, thy do cost a lot more than the normal ones but thy are 100% better for your hair ask for a set as your Christmas present
definitly go for ceramic ones

boots sell them for about 30 quid i believe and ive heard they are quite good
you MUST at least get ceramic. My wife uses a Revlon that was pretty cheap at about 18 bucks. It works much better than the cheaper ones.
I use Remmingtons.

i even converted two friends from using GHD's to Remmingtons- they're about 拢25 from boots and are so much better!!!
About 30quid!
ceramics dont ruin your hair like some do. but they are expensive
straighteners are great if you use them properly - I have ceramic ones and would not use anything else, as the others just pull and tear your hair. save up - or buy on ebay (check their rating first)
Hi,

GHD are the best you can get so try %26amp; save for some, check out e-bay they have some on there. Ceramic straighteners are smoother on the hair %26amp; do not damage as much.
i have ghd and dont find them very good i find if you want straight hair to dry it in sections with a round brush untill completely dry and then section it and straighten i used to have remingtons and they were good too
My mums the same,i dont get it if it makes us happy why not?

i have tryed lots of straighteners but if your looking for a quick straight use nicky clark,if you have a bit more time use remmington.

Seperate your hair into layers.do half at a time, clip half up,layer up the other half, and just straighten it like that so much easier ( then a trick a leart from my mate) flip your head upside down and just re-do the under layers, stops it from going wavey.

normal can damager your hair and make it look static, ceramic protects.
I now use Tresemme straighteners, they were about 拢20 in Boots (UK) but I can't remember if they were in a sale or not. They are the best and really straighten my hair (which is not only curly but super frizzy too :( ) I also use Tresemme heat protection spray which also does a good job.
babyliss (narrow), or try Ethel Austin if theres one in your area...they sell some good hair products, maybe ceramic thin, i got my neice some for her birthday 2 years ago and she still has them now...her hair always looks good... ceramic straighteners are very good, i dont rate Andrew Collinge...babyliss heat up straight away...and dont damage your hair...quite reasonable too...add them to your christmas list...
I shall never understand. girls with curly hair want it straight, girls with straight hair get a curly perm. beautiful bouncy women wish they were tall and slim and the slim ones want a more defined chest. clever women wish they were pretty and gorgeous ones want to be loved for their intelligence. I'm sure that it is all done to confuse us. it works.
Find a really big hardcover book that you already read and put parts of your hair in the middle of it than close it and repeat until all your hair is straight... sorry I'm a guy, that's the best hair advice I have for that question.
GHD's are superior but if you really can't get them the 拢25 Remmington ones (as someone has already mentioned) are pretty good. Make sure you use a straightening serum as well, as not to kill your hair. Toni and Guy do a good one for about 拢7 xxx
GHD's, and that's coming from a man with a skinhead (My missus has them).
Go on to www.asos.com . I got some really good professional(hair tools) ones on there for 拢30. My mate has ghd's and they're just as good.
ceramic straighteners r men to protect ur hair.. best is remington, or baby liss for me..
eya im also 13 and like most of us im straightner mad to i have tresemae straightners i wouldnt change them for the world also ur betta off using straightning cream or protection cream/spray to make sure your hair isnt gettin rli damage by the waii ghds break really easilly good luck !
Save up and get GHD they are the very best anything else is just a waste of time and money. I bought GHD salon straightners and they cost 拢108 but it was money well spent. Talk to your Mum and tell her you'll do the dishes for a year!
have you considered Glass or Ionic straighteners. I have heard these are very good.

Best hair straighteners?

I'm looking into buying an expensive hair straighter in 2 weeks, i wanted the sedu but it is unavailable so my choices are Chi(pink one) and Paul brown hawaii hair straighter, which one is good? Which one will make my hair soft and silky and shiny. What are your experiences with them? Which one will be well worth the money?Best hair straighteners?
you should get an instylerBest hair straighteners?
From my experience with a pink Chi that I've bought from a salon...It is fantastic! I've tried so many inexpensive Straightenersrs and this is the only one that actually works effectively! It is well worth your money! I've had mines for over 1 year and it works the same like i got it the 1st day. I have wavy, frizzy, curly hair and my pink chi does the job of straightening and with biosilk on my hair prior to using the iron it gives it a shine! good luck!
i would say the chi i use them all the time at my school (i am getting my cosmo license). but also it is the preparation of straightening to keep it straight. i have curly hair and they work great on mine, which is hard to find. but when you blow dry your hair use a moose or gel to protect your hair from the heat and to help it hold the straightness. also before you straighten and after you blow dry use a heat protector it might cost a little for for the extra products but it will be better in the long run.
i would get the Chi.

So much better than the other.

it makes your hair soft.

but you have to use hair products to make it shiny, lol.

and i have a chi.

they last FOREVER.

and are amazing.

the Chi is worth it,definatly.
CHI is the best hair straightener i have ever used, but for best results make sure to apply a serum before you straighten your hair I use Chi silk infusion and it makes my hair silky, shiny and smooth
i use a black chi (im assuming its pretty much the same thing) i've had it for almost four years and its amazing:] it doesnt make your hair all dry it actually makes mine softer.

What is the best hair straightener out there?

Under 300 bucks, that doesnt completely FRY your hair off? i know they all do, but you know. What is the best hair straightener out there?
remmingtonWhat is the best hair straightener out there?
Maxiglide is the BEST. My hair is also very thick and VERY curly and it does wonders. It has built-in pins so you can do it with one hand and you don't need to hold a brush in the other. It also heats up to 422 degrees, but that's at it's highest setting and it has ten so don't worry about it being too hot. It also has a built-in steam chamber so that you can steam your hair [I know that sounds funny] while striaghteneing it which helps to keep it soft and shiny. It's about $100. Plus you get lots of other stuff in the package [humidity shield, shampoo, conditioner, silica serum which would add up to about $60 but you get them pretty much free]. Here's a link to the website: http://www.maxiusbeauty.com/

P.S.: I used the Remmington Wet 2 Straight before I got my Maxiglide, and it's a really good straightner too, but where it took me about an hour and a half to completely straighten my hair with it, it takes me about 45 minutes with the Maxiglide.

Hope I was helpful!

Happy Holidays! =]
chi 80-130

sedu 100-130+

GHD bout 190

HAI bout 80

Solia 70-90 even though solia is the cheapest it takes really good care of ur hair and keeps it real soft. my personal favorite

conair is also good and cheap bout 40

hope that helps
Depends on the texture and length of your hair. I just finally bought one and I was able to research ratings and choose one based on my hair type. Ultimately I chose a Solia 1 1/4 inch and am very happy with it (I paid $88). I've heard great things about the Chi, but check out Folica.com before buying. Great info and pics of befores and afters from consumers as well as their personal reviews.
There are a lot of good flat irons you could buy, but try to find a ceramic straightener. Also, don't forget to use a heat protecting oil spray on your hair first. Even the best irons will fry your hair if you don't protect it.

Good luck.
try a CHI. i haven't tried one, but almost all of my friends have one and their hair looks B-E-A-utiful!!! (and undamaged)
I have a solia and its great, its gets it very straight and not alot of breakage, just dont do it everyday, only use it once or twice a week if you can.
i have bought and used so many high priced ones and it either took me forever or fried my hair.. my sister got one and it says ';straight to the maxx'; on it and i love it.. it takes me like 15-20 minutes if that.. and it hasn't fried my hair at all.. it works great and i think she got it from walgreens or something like that.. good luck and best wishes! hope you have a merry christmas and a very happy new year!
my friend has a CHI. her hair loooks amazing and it's inexpensive.
Yeah, I've heard that Chi is the best. I don't have one... cause they are to expensive for me but if you got the money to spend on a hair straightener, try that one. I heard they are about 100 bucks.
If you are looking for a mechanical device use a ceramic hot comb or flat iron. If you are looking for a chemical straightener order Rusk Radical Anticurl Original Forumla 1 online.

What are the best hair straighteners?

I have really really curly hair and i would prefer a wet / dry one. What are the best hair straighteners?
The Tourmaline T3 Wet/dry iron is the greatest!!!

I have super curly hair, I cant say enough good about this iron. It makes your hair soooo soft and shiny, seriously go for that one. If you want it cheaper, try ebay, otherwise its around $200. Good luck! What are the best hair straighteners?
well i use gold n hot but my friend use this straightener that stop it from being so curly but ask the store clerk to help u when u buy one
Okay I have used many that are ALOT better than the chi! I wouldn't know about one for wet/dry, but at Sally's they have many and you can talk to a salesperson about your presences. The one I have came from them, it works wonders! Has a long cord so I'm not stuck at the plug and it gets up to 420f! As soon as I plug it in its ready to go =). So yes I say take a trip to Sally's.

Don't forget the warranty the straighteners do get worn out
the CHI no doubt about it. it is also good for your hair which many straigteners arent. i would really highly recomend. ULTA also has them on sale a lot or they might come with some free product or something like that
i think ghd's are the best!!

i have a pair and i hinestly couldnt live without them! =D

x
i have a very good iron straightener called GAMA italy its ceramic professional... i only pass it one time and it leaves my hair straight all day i also put a after bath cream(sally's called ion) 2 help it even more...and also helps so i dont burn so much my hair.
the chi
CHI makes a good one, also InfraShine is good.

Remington Wet to Straight (the large plate size)

I have long, rediculus frizzy hair and every day when I get out of the shower I run this over it and in about 20 minutes its stick straight. I got it at Walgreens. It's a miracle worker.

  • HAIR STRAIGHTENERS?!?

does this ';ionic treatment'; really works in what it comes to HAIR STRAIGHTENERS? i bought this BABYLISS that doesn't have that ionic thing and when i come outside and it's windy and raining and the weather is a bit wet, my hair curls up and is frizzy again.

could anyone tell me please :DHAIR STRAIGHTENERS?!?
get a Chi flat iron, they are pricy but worth it. Its what hairdressers use.

EDIT: Sorry, I don't know about the ionic treatment, never used it. And chi's do not ruin your hair, I've used one for over a year and have very healthy hair.HAIR STRAIGHTENERS?!?
chi flat irons ruin your hair. you should use a basic straightener life a conair, or something you could get at CVS. most creams dont work, so you are best off using one of those

    good luck :)
theres no need to spend so much money on a chi or ghd's.

get either the remington straight in a stroke or some hedkandi ones.

    Hair straighteners?

my birthday is in october and i am getting a hair straightener can u guys please tell me if this one here is any good for its price ?http://www.myhaircare.com.au/Solid_Ceramic_64mm_Flat_Iron_113.html J

Just go to that website i may post another question later when i talk to mum about prices and you can tell me what ones i can get for under that

    thanks byeHair straighteners?
Thats awful expensive for just a hair straightener. I have extremely wavy hair and I use a conair hair straightener that cost me only like $25-30 bucks. I bought it at walmart and It is the exact same model here.:

    http://www.conair.com/tourmaline-ceramic-straightener-with-straightening-pins-p-461.html

Its only $44 online and It works great and it gets really hot too!!!

Its definitely a good buy.Hair straighteners?
I think that that price is a bit steep for a babyliss flat iron. I would personally recommend that you check out Folica.com. They actually have that same flat iron for sale at around 80 dollars.

    http://www.folica.com/BaByliss_Profes_d1/a>

They have a huge selection of straighteners available on that site, so I would suggest that you shop around and read the reviews before you make a final decision. Good Luck!
Thats a good product, but quite expensive.

You could invest in a GHD for that price, they are the ultimate best and you certainly won;t regret them.
It looks pretty good, I've heard good things about the babybliss straighteners.
    go fr it

    Hair straighteners...?

Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive hair straightener? I have thin hair. I just need something to straighten the ends of my hair that tends to curve every time I wake up... =XHair straighteners...?
if you just want to use the straightener for the ends of your hair, try blow drying it straight with a blow dryer and a round brush and a little bit of hair product. i like using the gainer frutis style brilliante shine cream-gel or the smoothing milk. just follow the directions on the back of the bottles.Hair straighteners...?
use the iron my girl go it every morning it only take 3 minutes lay your hair on the ironing board put some grease on or whatever u use and go over it real quick its cheap and it respects your schudule
basically any will work on your hair since it is thin and you only want to do the ends i have a revlon ceramic straightner. that stinks for my hair but thats b/c its THICK long and really curly i think it would be great for you they are pretty inexpensive

added: the CHI is pretty expensive its works good but you dont need too much power b/c you only want to do a little straightening
im pretty sure almost any will work on your hair cause it is thin. so dont go spend a lot a money cause you dont need to.
The CHI is the best there is. I have one.
go to any department store, u can get good ones for under $30 and they will work well for ur hair
OMG my sis has the frizziest hair u HAVE TO USE CONAIR!!!!!!!!! hope it works!!! xP
The CHI works best and doesnt harm your hair but its a bit of a splurge =\
the same thing happens to me. i use the revlon ceramic straightner.
    The CHI!!! it works great.
    try these

    http://www.target.com/gp/browse.html/602/a>

    some are under 15.00 dollars
I have like the same type of hair as you .....

I went to walmart and bought a 1 inch conair and it works great it was 15 bucks and conair stands behind their product(warranty)very well if something goes wrong.(nothing did just saying)

Go with it . It works !

    Hair Straighteners?!?

I need a new hair straightner and I either want a chi or a bedhead.. but is there any reasonably priced straighteners?Hair Straighteners?!?
Sedu. I have curly hair and had been using a cheap flat iron. It was giving me hair breakage and drying my hair out. I bought the Sedu hair straightener a few months ago. It is easy to use, leaves my hair shiny and ';dead straight'; within 5 minutes of use (after blow drying).Hair Straighteners?!?
It really depends on the type of hair you have, there is no perfect straightener. People say Chi is good, but othere's say it's bad. Same with Bedhead, GHD, MaxiGlide, etc.

With that being said. I use the Conair C25 1-5/8. I think it's good because it's gentle, doesn't fry my hair, and if the heat gets to low it has a heat recovery system. It has a comb attachment to keep the hair in place. I have basically normal wavy hair so I don't need a high heat and so far this is the best I've come across and it runs under $30.
i dont have a chi or a bedhead lol, i have a revlon. but it depends on how high each straighteners temp. can go and the type of your hair. my hair is fairly curly, not too loose and not too curly. mine costed around $25. lol yea i got it at target, and it works really really good.
    I HAVE THE PERFECT one..

    Its a Remington Wet2Straight,

you can use it on wet hair or dry hair and its only like $26.00 you can get it at walmart.
In the under $100 Range bed head would be your choice. For mid Range price$100-175), I would suggest CHI or Sedu. If price isn't an option, my personal favorite brand are GHD stylers.
you should get a sedu check out their site

apparently this is the hair straightner that the hollywood stars use

    Hair straighteners?

there are these really good straghteners called GHD's right

i got 3 things to ask about them i hope you can help me

    1. in the usa do people know about them or use them there

    2. where do you get them from like what salons

    3. do you know anywhere i cud get them cheaper because 拢120 / $240 is a lot of moneyHair straighteners?
I worked in a beauty suppliers and I'd advise you not to buy GHD, there are far more advanced irons out there that you could buy for a lot less than $240. I'd say try sedu irons or FHI if you can get those...the reason being is you want a thermostat to control the temp. Each of the irons i stated go to 220C and 232C respectively. however you can turn the FHIs up and down to suit your hair needs. Please dont fall victim to the GHD scam, they are a basic straightener and all you are really paying for is they're marketing...how do i know? GHD'S 3.1 and CHI's are made in the same factory...ghd's 拢100+ CHI 拢62.99+vat keep in mind 拢62.99 is also CHI making a profit...so have a think on how much GHD is making on each iron...they're not that reliable either i know how many returns there are on them(people brought them to our store for exchange but only ghd can do this).Hair straighteners?
try other make than GHD cos i understand its top of the range and you can get cheaper make which do the same job. try babyliss
    1. No, we're all too clueless about our surroundings.

    2. No idea.

    3. Try ebay, they have everything.
i got mine on ebay for 拢90 in a bid

and if you buy them from a salon most of the good ones sell them
    i found one on amazon.com for $140??

    if that helps :]

    Hair straighteners?

i have very thick and sort of wavy hair. but its VERY difficult straightening it... i dont really understandhow girls with tighter curls than me get it so straight. the texture of my hair is not soft and smooth like a straight hair girls'. so someone with a similar texture tell me what really works?Hair straighteners?
Chi Ceramic Hair Straightener has very good reviews and I really like it myself. Works wonderful for my hair. However, no matter what the instructions say, please use hair products that would protect you hair from the heat (Neutrogena Triple Moisture庐 Silk Touch Leave-In Cream is OK, or Silk Therapy shine on- Biosilk, gives shine and protects... http://www.farouk.com/biosilk/silktherap/a> or other products; you don't want to damage your hair tooo much).

    Hope this helps.Hair straighteners?
Well, most likely you don't have a good enough straightener. Get like a 40 dollar one i suggest the wet 2 straight u can set it on different settings and get it (i have it and it works on all types of hair) you set it for low for more fine and thin hair and a higher setting for thick. higher for damp and even higher for wet. Maybe this one wont even do it for you, you may have to get a really nice straightener for it 2 work, but then, that straightener will work like a charm. my friend has the wet 2 straight and she has really curly hair, she straightens it like every day and it looks great!

If you do have one of these good straighteners then you most likely should go to a hair stylist for tips and different ways to make it straight, maybe theres a haircut that makes it straiter. who knows!

    Good LUck
The right straightener will get your hair straight...i have curly hair that is not soft and smooth either, so i guess i know what you are going thru;) i tried the remington ceramic straightener 1st and that wasn't good on my hair... after finding out about hair straighteners - i bought the GHD hair straightener...there are 3 - the travel - the normal - the salon 1. i got the normal 1 - but if i had known better i wouldv'e gotten the salon 1 - it has a larger area for straightening so it is better 4 curly, unruly hair.

i reccommend this 1 to you.

also, i think u should ALWAYS use a hair protectant b4 u straighten - the GHD one seems good - i have yet to try it - i will - i am currently using the Wella1 - that's pretty good - but i know the GHD will be better. and after i have straightened - i put some serum or some frizz calming stuff on - Kerastase olio relax - yellow squeeze top bottle...

    so

i think mostly get the GHD:D
Well, I have the conair one that u can straighten wen its wet it works soooo well, i did it on picture day and it turned out so well. Chances are you need a better straightener for your type of hair, maybe get one that has different settings for your different type of hair. You may need to get a professional one for you. With your type of hair its not MENT to be straight so thast probably why its hard to straighten. If you do have good straightener then maybe go 2 an hair sylist for more tipes

    **good luck
since u have thick hair it is hard to straighten it unless u go strand by strand and straigten for 30 mins. an easier way is, wash ur hair with conditioner (makes it softer) and blow dry straight. (use a paddle brush and put a piece of hair on, slide the brush down ur hair while the blow dryer is parallel with the brush. start from the roots of ur hair down) and then when its all dry, spray some heat defence (alberto's heat defence) on and start straightening. it should be easier now as ur hair should be pretty smooth from the conditioner and somewhat straight from the blowdrying. good luck
Straightner that is really good. Get CHI because it gets hot in 5 seconds and it comes with products that make your hair stay straight when you straightin it.
you need a ceramic hair straightener-any brand works well.

    good luck!!
    get revlon it works awesome
A really good flat iron, and some straighten creme.
make sure you straighten your hair when it is completely dry. use a ceramic straightener too. before straightening each strand, spray on a heat resistant/ straightening product such as 44 iron guard by CHI (found in most salons). straighten small strand of your hair at a time, it may take a little longer, but if you want it straight, don't rush. finally, always use a wide tooth comb instead of a hairbrush when your hair is straight.
ok you need to get the product ';chi'; and a CHI iron it makes your hair look great and has life not frizzy and dead you can get this product at the nearest solon and will cost 30-40 bucks the thing that will cost the most is the straighting iron you will want to get a thin iron since your hair is short but you cant just go to walmart and get an iron it will look crappy! hope i helped ~morgan~

  • Hair straighteners?

i wanna buy a hair straightener for my friend as a late xmas present. i was wondering if there are any straighteners that actually work that cost between $20 - $45aud or 拢10 - 拢20 ???

    xxxHair straighteners?
SIMPLY Buy a REMINGTON Hair Straightener ! !

tHE REMINGTON is tHE BEST; Period ! !

    Also try http://www.hairproducts.comHair straighteners?
the remmington wet 2 straight. i swear by it and its only $30. i love, love, love it!!!
Go to a drug store =]

They have a section on hair care products which normally has some cheap hair straighteners.

How to use a hair straightener?

I bought a ceramic hair staightener from ebay. It did not come with instructions. Its a breville profile. It doesnt have any settings on it. So you would just plug it in. It has an orange light and I wonder if it changes colour when its ready? How long do I hold it in place for? I am a 1st timer!!!How to use a hair straightener?
Well, here's the best way to tell if it's on: hold your hand close to it (not on it!). Is it hot? If so, it's on! Lol.

Section your hair and clamp the straightener as close to the roots as possible. As for speed of pulling the straightener through, it's all what works for you. I have coarser hair so I go slower through my hair with the straightener than my sister, who has fine hair. Just don't hold it in place for too long, you don't want to singe your hair! How to use a hair straightener?
    -You plug the straightner in.

    - You set it somewhere or hold it(if you set it down you need to be in the same room and DO NOT PUT IT ON PLASTIC IT WILL MELT!)

    - Feel the metal part.

    - If it is hot open it up

    - While pressing down glide throught hair

    Hope this helps!
i have a hair straightener and you plug it in. Then, you wait until you think it is hot enough.you are better off using it on completely dry hair.you should keep the straightener in a section of hair for at least 4seconds.

    Hope this helps!!!
hold the straightner at the middle or towards the bottom part ur hair in medium pieces and try to get the straightner to the root of ur hair (try not to burn ur scalp) and press it down on ur hair and slide it to the end of ur hair.
separate your hair and then glide it through bits of you hair it might get steammy dont get scared just simply move on and used straightning spray or something to protect your hair

    awnser mine

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;/a>
just wait a few minutes to start straightening your hair. the light comes up when you plug it in and that is probably all that it is there for. so just start at your roots and glide it on down!
take a comb and comb it while you straighted it

dont hold it in same palce

most likely you will burn yourself for the first time i know i did
First spray a hair straignting liquid which stops your hair from burning then start from your roots and press the hair straightener down your hair slowly.!
you plug it up and you turn it up three times and you start
do not hold it in place.. simply glide thru your hair.

What is/are the best straightening balm(s) to use with a Solia Hair straightener?

    I have really thick hair

    I love the straightener

Just want a Balm (or 2 or more) just in caseWhat is/are the best straightening balm(s) to use with a Solia Hair straightener?
Aveda light elements smoothing fluid. It worked wonders for me. I'm unsure of the straightener, because I have a Chi. It is a little pricey but it lasts a long time and it is so worth it. My hair is really thick and it makes my hair look much thinner and it is no longer frizzy. I love itWhat is/are the best straightening balm(s) to use with a Solia Hair straightener?
i also have really thick hair and I use Simply Sleek Straightening Balm from John Frieda and Straigh Answer Frizz Ease Spray

What is the best hair straightener?

I have very long hair and, before investing in a new straightener, I would like to know which is the best one. What is the best hair straightener?
Chi straightener. it really straightens and evenly distrubutes heat, lessening split ends. What is the best hair straightener?
a chi, and use a heat protectant always before straightening! this brand is the best i have ever used, it works for everyone and maes your hair silky and smooth
    http://www.sallybeauty.com/flat-iron/SBS/a>

I personally like this straightener. I think mine has wider plates though. I love it though. It straightens my hair extremely well, and I have pretty thick hair.
the GHD's are the best hair straightener

it does not take long to heat up and reduces frizzy ness in the hair

they are dare but are well worth the money

they long lasting and you can do curls with them as well

    Hair straighteners?

I'm going to buy a new hair straightener and I wondered whether anyone had any advice about either the Remington Wet2Straight range (in particular the effectiveness and/or warnings) or ghd straighteners (and how long they last, benefits). Cost is of some but not overwhelming concern in the equation, though I liked the convenience of the Remington more than the prestige of the ghd.

    Thanks!Hair straighteners?
Remington wet to straight feels so very wrong. You have hairdryers to dry hair ,why not use them? They work better than any other straightener. That's what they are made for. With Wet2Straight, you have to go over the same area over again to actually dry the hair. If it's not bone dry, the moisture that is still on it makes it curl a little.

I bought a GHD and never went back, seriously. You can also curl, wave, volume etc so it's not a one trick pony. If money isn't an overwhelming issue, go for it! The only reason the GHD has such a huge rep is because it really is a godsend. It heats up in literally 5 seconds, you only have to go over each section of hair ONCE to get a better result than any other straighteners i have ever used. I'd say don't waste your money on a Wet2Straight, and head directly for the GHD. And if you don't want a GHD, i'd still suggest another straightener because the Remington's don't tend to be very good.Hair straighteners?
The GHD would have to be the best. I used to have a Remington one, they dont last that long and can take a long time to straighten your hair. I brought a ghd back in may and it was worth it. My hair looks so good, many people want to know what products and straightners i use. with a GHD it will last and you'll be gurenteed compliments! It is SO worth $300. Another resort could be chemically straightned hair. Most hair salons would do this.
The best hair straightener is the GHD which you can buy online. This is the one that hairdressers use. It is expensive but will last forever and will do the best and quickest job.

    Cheers
i'd go ghd, they're the top of the range and you can't go wrong with one of them, they work really well and are better for your hair than a lot of straighteners. I'd be a bit cautious to use a wet to straight hair straigtener, I mean hair straightnerers already dry out your hair enough but one that is designed strong enough to dry your hair when it's wet? I just think it may do even more damage than your average straightener... But those are just my impressions.
The CHI is excellent, but costs a lot. Here r some ghd-s:

(a site with all of them)

Remington Wet2Straight. Be careful on this one, can cause steam burns on scalp! A straightener made from ceramic works great. Holds the heat well and is fast. You can find a good one by Curl Master at Sally Beauty Supply for about 19.00 - 30.00. They range in sizes for 1'; to 3';.
I'd probally go with the remington, i checked them out a few months ago and they seem to have come along way from the old ones. My last one was remington, but after a while the cord came loose and there was no way of fixing it. Other than that they seem good.

    Happy Straighting :)
The GHD is the best straightner I ever bought and although its not the cheapest it is really worth your money. I bought it 2years ago and I have had no problems with it. You can also curl, wave and straighten your hair with it

I want a new hair straightener as good as a GHD but cheaper?

Basically I've had two ghds and they're excellent but after about two years each one has broken :( They keep getting more and more expensive, I just want to know has anyone found one as good quality but cheaper? :)I want a new hair straightener as good as a GHD but cheaper?
You wont be able to get one as good as one, (or as far as ive found) but what you could try is a Chi, Sedu ect from what ive heard these are all amazing irons.I want a new hair straightener as good as a GHD but cheaper?
Then you must buy CHI hair straightener which cost is : $79.89

  • Are ';CHI'; hair straighteners any good?

I've seen them on youtube lol (I'm a youtuber) and I guess they're goodbut kinda pricey if your on a budget. I've been meaning to get one and I just found out they have some at Costco for 60.

So here's my questions: can anyone tell me anything about them? Recommendations? Is $60 a good price?

Thanks ;)Are ';CHI'; hair straighteners any good?
    Chis are AMAZING!

    Totally worth the cost.

I have one and I love it.

My hair is straight all day.

And other straightners tended to pull my hair but chis are so smooth.

I lovee it (:Are ';CHI'; hair straighteners any good?
Ok here is my opinion...like you I am also a you-tuber and I saw all of the reviews of the Chi Flat Iron and I just had to get one. I finally tried it and my honest opinion is the Chi is very over rated, I have a gold n hot who did just a good job if not better on my hair than the Chi. Maybe the Chi I used wasn't the right one because it was one of the limited editions that was hot pink. Again this is just my honest opinion, you might try it and like it but I personally do not get the hype over it. Hope this helps.
60 dollars is a really good price for CHI. they are very good straightners i have one and i love it. many professional hairstylest use them as well. My hair dresser uses one. You should deffinitly get it!!!!!!
they're pretty good if you have thin hair, but if you have thick or curly hair i would recommend the Wet2straight straightener
oh my god! They have some at costco WOW im going to get one O_O

60 dollars is hella good. They are at least 150 in the salons!
yeah thats really good at ulta they cost $100 or more chi is very good quality i think
i have one but honestly it's not that great...

Can i take my hair straightener or my axe perfume in my luggage in a plane flightCan i take my hair straightener or my axe perfume in my luggage in a plane flight?
Technically neither are allowed as carry ons, but it really depends on how strict the screeners are. If you don't want to take the chance that your stuff will be confiscated, put it in your checked luggageCan i take my hair straightener or my axe perfume in my luggage in a plane flight?
Yes you can, but only in your check luggage.

and also tell me why people say Gay when u keep straight hair, and i need few tips for having straight hair thnx in advance :-)What is better one, Hair straightener cream or Machine?
well if u see in a scientific way both are useless

if u use a machine then it damages ur hair

and if u use a cream it damages ur scalp

better is that u use natural things like henna etc.

Looking for a quality hair straightener?

I would like a good hair straightener that can work well with my thick hair. I was told that to get a good hair straightener I must spend at least $200 on it. I would like to think that this is not true. Are there any straighteners out there that are inexpensive and good quality? Any recommendations/links/tips would help. Thanks!Looking for a quality hair straightener?
The CHI brand has really great straighteners!!!! I have a chi and I absolutely loooove mine! I have thick and wavy hair. It used to take me up to 40 minutes to straighten my hair with a crappy Revlon straightener (my hair is past my shoulders) but ever since I got my chi for my birthday, it takes me up to 15 minutes to straighten all of my hair!!! I got mine at Ulta for $100 (which is not bad for the brand) and it is hot pink and shimmery :) go to www.ulta.com and search hair tools and you will find an assortment of high quality straighteners.

Good luck!Looking for a quality hair straightener?
I love the TIGI Pro flat iron. It's brand new and features titanium plates that are negatively charged with Ions to seal down the cuticle and lock moisture in the hair. It leaves the hair shiny and straight. It has an LCD screen that shows the temperature and you can change the temp all the way up to 500 degrees. As well as this it senses the porosity of your hair and decreases in heat on places of the hair shaft that are more dry and brittle. I believe that it does retail at $170, but well worth it. Think of your styling tools as an investment. Higher quality will make your life easier and will last longer.

P.S. If you are in touch with anyone that has a cosmetology license they can purchase the flat iron at a beauty supply store such as Armstrong at a very discounted price. Other than this you can find it at Toni and Guy.
Spending 200$ on a straightener is ridiculous depending on how advanced you want your straightener you can get a good straightener at target for 30$ i suggest a straightener with multiple heats and non-curved heated plates (the things you put your hair in between) because it breaks your hair if there curved. Make sure it has high heat and it should work great
i have thick hair to...i recently bought a ghd straightner they are not cheap but it is the best straightner i've ever had look at ghd.com,they are about 100 bucks, but i had a diffrent one a long time ago it was by the maker jubilee. that one was 60 bucks,i would suggest going to sallys beauty supply or any other beauty supply store they can assist you! i asked them but i;m telling you the ghd is the best straightner i'v ever had.
I personally have the Remington S-2004 Teflon Fiber Ceramic 1'; Straightene, cause of the fiber design it doesn't burn hair as much and is a good quality solid design.

I wouldn't say my hair is thick, but I've had some of my gf use it and all were pretty happy.

P.S. And they hae SALE now on http://www.remington-store.com/product_list.asp?CAT=hair%26amp;SKW=remhcl
Well, there is the CHI, the InStyler, and the GHD's make your decision. =D
GHD was the best, New rounder barrel so it's even easier to create perfect curls, waves or flicks, as well as the perfect straight.

Sleep mode is a built in sety feature that gives you peace of mind by turning off if the IV styler is left unattend for 30 minutes
No they are not $200! I don't think I know of one that is $200. Mine was probably about $20-$40 and from Wal-Mart and I think it works fine. You just have to straighten in layers to straighten your thick hair. So I'd suggest just going to a super store to buy one and not wasting your money on some rinestoned $200 one. No offense. Hope this helped.
I use an amiko. I think it was pretty pricey but def not 200. I used to use a conair one, and it worked pretty well, but the amiko works a lot better. look around and do some research. I'm sure ebay would have something too.
I recommend the Babyliss PRO straighteners. They're under $100, usually run from $70-$80. Chi Irons are overated in my opinion. Rusk Flat irons are good.
I have thick unruly hair and I have a metropolis 1'; and have had it for going on 5 years now and it is still going strong I think i paid somewhere in the $120's for it
That is not true AT ALL! I spent $40 on mine and I LOVE it! And I got it at Walmart... haha. Here is the link... It works like a charm. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d/a>
I like the instyler it works really well.

Here is where I found it.

    http://www.getspecialdeals.com/instyler_hair_straightner/
I really love the Remington ';Wet to Straight';....

I think that sounds like it would work.

what about the instyler? it works on course hair.
    chi:)

Im getting a CHI hair straightener for x mas. whats the best one?

my hair is pretty straight already it just gets kind of poofy after i wash it. i straighten it every morning and i want a sleek and shiny look. basically i dont want my hair to frizz after i straighten it or it to only stay straight fer an hour then go back to normal...

Also what Chi products should i use.

and if there a better straightener please tell me.

and please give me direct links.Im getting a CHI hair straightener for x mas. whats the best one?
Well if you have thick hair a 2'; would be best and a 1'; would be best for thinner hair.Pink is really cute and I think it comes in pink, purple, blue and black.A good CHI product is a serum that comes in a silver bottle and says ';CHI'; on it in red,its really good, apply it after a shower(tablespoon) with your fingers and stroke it through your hair, then towel dry and let it dry by itself(unless you are in a rush than blow dry it) then apply about 1-3 tablespoons of serum and repeat instructions.

    Good luck!: D

What is the best hair straightener?

I want to straighten my hair with one of those kits you can buy at the drugstore or a store like walmart. NOT the actual straigteners you plug in but the chemicals you put in your hair. I have baby fine hair that has natural curl but does straighten very easily. I have heard some horror stories about people trying to straighten at home and a week after there hair starts falling out. Does anyone have any experience with these kits and which one would you reccomend. What is the best hair straightener?
No sorry. But, I do recommend the MAXIglide. It can be purchased on HSN(Home Shopping Network) And don't worry about horror stories , it comes with an instructional DVD.

I as well have natural curly hair and it works great on meWhat is the best hair straightener?
Hair straighteners are fast way to straighten hair.

Hello, its my friends birthday, and she wants a hair straightener, a good one. she wants to get it from chatter hair salon and it needs to be around 100 dollars or less.

PLEASE HELPIm looking for a hair straightener from chatters that around 100 dollars or under?
just go in and ask them for the cheapest hair straightener they have.Im looking for a hair straightener from chatters that around 100 dollars or under?
CANUCKS RULE AND SO DOES DETROIT PITSBURG SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YA I ROC 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NO ONE CAN BEAT THAT ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YA (THIS IS THE PART WHERE U START TO SCREAM AND DANCE AND GO HYPER)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!does this answer ur question

What's a good hair straightener that's not very expensive?

I want to get a straightener that will make my hair look smooth and shiny while straightening.

I wanted to get a chi but it's about 200 dollars and I can't afford that. I also do not like Conair, so please don't recommend that.

So, what's a good straightener I can buy that is not very expensive?

    My limit is about 70$.

Thanks! What's a good hair straightener that's not very expensive?
My mother is a hair stylist and shell be the 1st to be blunt that an expensive tool isn't always the best one!!! Chi is a good STRAIGHTENER but ur right its far too much$$$. That's pretty what salons only carry. Me personally i have thick (naturally curly coarse hair) I bought this helen of try one (ceramic w/ tarpaulin might be spelled wrong) for like $45.00 at Sally's. It works for me but everyone is different. I grabbed an 1 in 1/2 cuz the skinny ones do nothing for my hair. So try going to a beauty supply store in stead of a salon.. look in ur local area and im sure you'll find a good one : ) $70.00 will get ya a nice 1 but again expensive isn't always betterWhat's a good hair straightener that's not very expensive?
I would recommend a Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron (1-1/4';) it may be $10 more but girl that thing works like magic i would recommend it to everybody my hair went from thick and wavy to straight and shiny if you're not willing to pay $10 more than i suggest visiting http://www.folica.com/ this website has everything from hair straighteners to makeup . If you can't find anything there then i suggest getting the fhi or the gvp those work well too if there still not what you're looking for , for the price or whatever then you could get a mini one for your bangs ( if you have any ) . If not then just get a permanent hair straightener at sally beauty store .
Chi is one of the best, not only has it been around for a long time it was one of first straighteners made. It heats up really quick and the plates don't harm your hair as much. I'd use a heat protecting spray though because any heat still does harm your hair. I suggest Nexxus Heat Protexx.

you need to invest in a good flat iron, if you go to target a CHI is only $80! only $10 more dollars than you were wishing to spend but its worth the price.

    I hope I helped,

    XOoXo,

    B.
i have 2 hair straighteners. the one hair straightener is rlly good and makes my hair shiny. it also straightens wet hair which i think is rlly good cuz u dont have to wait til ur hair is dry to straighten it. that straightener i got for 40 bucks at target. its call wet 2 straight straightener. it works for wavy hair curly hair and any kind it also has digital speeds so u can put it up for as high as u want. the highest one straightens wet hair. well i hope ihelped good luck :)

What's the best hair straightener that you can but, without damageing your hair too much.?

The one that I have now, I got it from a hair salon and makes my hair thin, and somewhat frizzy. I tried using a shampoo that thickens it a bit, to see if that works, but it didn't.

Any suggestions? What's the best hair straightener that you can but, without damageing your hair too much.?
Any Ionized one is better for your hair. What's the best hair straightener that you can but, without damageing your hair too much.?
i use my CHI every day and my hair is pretty healthy
    GHD
I had to actually stop using my hair straightener, because if I kept on, my hair would fall out.

I wish I would've known back in September to get the CHI. It's so amazing, and it leaves your hair feeling shiny and smooth, without causing harmful damage to your hair.

    So I would suggest to first get the Redken spray for extra protection;

Use before and a spritz after.

    Hope I could help.
First of all, a thickening agent wouldn't be good, if you were trying to get rid of frizz. You need to buy something to put on your hair before you straighten it. (i.e., straightening serum, etc.) With any flat iron, you can get damaged hair.

When you straighten, make sure your hair is CLEAN and DRY. You should also wait to straighten after you blow-dry until your hair cools down. It's best to straighten your hair after blow-drying, and not washing your hair at night (letting your hair air-dry), then straightening it in the morning.

I need as many answers as possible for this question, please(it's about hair straighteners)?

i think i'm going to get a remington wet 2 straight, because it seemed like a lot of people really like it, but a little while ago some people told me it was horrible and i would be wasting my money on one of those. so who thinks a remington is better and who thinks i'll waste my money on one of those?

thank you so much for all of your answers in advance. i will choose someone random for best answer, i just need your honest opinion!I need as many answers as possible for this question, please(it's about hair straighteners)?
Me myself have one. They are really good, you straight your hair when it is wet or damp or even dry. You don't need even a hair dryer anymore. But it doesn't do it in one slide either, you need at least 2-3 slides, i mean for that money that what you Will get. But will straighten you hair well. If you want your hair really straight i recommend you this: http://www.stylewithremington.com/tstudi/a>

I have this one too, it straightens your hair really straight, i mean professional silky straight. It is $40.00 dollars, go to bed%26amp; bath and beyond and use a $10 OFF copoun and then you will get for $30.00, or Use a 20% OFF copoun for $32.00 Plus tax.I need as many answers as possible for this question, please(it's about hair straighteners)?
I have naturally curly hair that I straighten daily. I purchased the Remington Wet 2 Straight a few years ago in an attempt to cut down on styling time and to avoid blow drying. Honestly, I wasn't thrilled with the results.

When you put a hot iron to wet or damp hair, it makes a sizzling noise and steams a lot. I had to run the flat iron over the hair a few times to get it passably straight, which, for me, defeated the purpose of the iron. I ended up spending more time styling with the Remington than blow drying and flat ironing normally. Additionally, I stopped using the Remington because I was worried that repeatedly using a hot iron on my damp hair would cause damage and breakage.

I purchased a professional iron (a Chi, which I love) and have had great results. If you're not looking to spend a ton of money on a flat iron, Conair makes a good version with small plates. You can see it here: http://www.conair.com/satin-finish-ultra/a>
okay i have the wet to straight straightner and i LOVE it, especially if you have really long hair, you dont want to wait for 5 hours for your hair to dry, you can just go ahead and straighten it wet, it was the best thing i have ever purchased, and i have tried just about every straightner and that one is the best!!!!
it's not worth it, my neighbor has that and I used it once when I was at her house and it starts to smell like fish after a while ! D:

and don't even straighten your hair while it's wet ! it fries it up and gives you dead ends and frizz and it is NOT cute.

if you want to get a straightener [and don't mind spending like a hundred bucks] get the CHI one. my hair stylist uses it and it leaves it really straight and sleek and shiny. right now, I have the bedhead 1inch 'Light Me Up' thing, and it's working pretty good as well.
I would recommend not purchasing it because I too have heard the same negative comments. I have the CHI straightener which straightens with stone plates. Even though I paid alot for it, I've had it for over a year and it still works as good as the day I bought it. It is great for straightening and for loose curling. It is a dry iron; however, I believe it is less damaging to my hair.
a Remington Wet to Straight is called a cheap iron and these irons can be found at Wal-Mart or a drug-store. these do not get your hair as perfect as the pro irons, fry your hair like crazy, and snag on your hair/break it off. if you want to be an iron, buy a pro one! most of them are almost $200,but the best iron in the market(Sedu) is only $115!! Sedu is the best! it leaves my hair soft, silky, straight, and shiny in less than half the time with a normal iron! i've tried ALOT of other irons but i highly recomend this one:)

Just buy something at a store that has a good return policy... try it for a day or two and ifyou like it great... keep the receipt and make sure to recheck your choice in a week or two so that if you are unhappy with the item you can return it... no waste of mney there

I do not shop at stores that make you jump through hoops to return items that are inferior. Don't abuse the policies though.
well i work in a salon and 1st of all don't do it to wet hair. and to be honest some of my clients love it and some regret it. It costs $$ and i would need to see how your hair looks 1st.. well u should get a serious opinion at your salon. Don't just go to any salon b/c they will just want your $$$
I have never personally use that brand but I do use a straightener that is called GVP at Sally's Beauty Store and it is pretty cheap and it works excellent. I have really thick hair and it def. does the job. Everyone says its as good as a CHI and it goes to like 420 degrees. Its worth it to try it.
Hair straightener you need, huh?...hmmmm...how about a real good...((( HORROR film)))...that should straighten your hair in a hurry, and make it stand on its ends.....(well, sugar, you asked for as many answers/ ideas as possible, so dont let your hair get all curled up `cause of my answer..)
if you really care about your hair, you will use a quality salon straightener.

    expensive, but worth every penny.

    this might help:

You may not want to use that hair straightener. Try using a Chi Flat Iron. They are excellent.

For thermal protection, use the Chi 44 Thermal Portection Spray to prevent damage to the hair when straightening.
just get a ghd straightner.. ie nicky clarke... its expensive ya but its betta quality, more effective nd less damage... nd id buy tresemme heat defense spray for my hair also 4 extra protection :)
Go to a professional beauty salon and ask what they would recommend for your hair type. Then buy it at a local drug store . Beauty salon's charge twice as much.
well you should ask a professianol if it's right for your hair but if it is then don't use it with wet hair and not that much or hair might break
get paul mitchell at visible changes
They do suck get the kiyoseki its cheap and its better than the CHI

    http://www.kstyler.com
I have it, and it damages my hair and gives me split ends. I don't recomend buying it.
they suck i have one don't even bother

i head bed head suck tooo
they suck and ruin your hair and you shold never use it on wet hair

What is a good hair straightener?

I have wavy, somewhat thick hair. I was wondering what would be a good straightener that would not make my hair frizzy or staticy. It would be convenient if the hair straightener was in common stores such as walmart or target. What is a good hair straightener?
    http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productD/a>

    The Bedhead straightener is amazing.

It literally gets hot in less than four seconds,

and cool down time is only about five minutes.

It not only doesn't make your hair staticy,

it actually gets rid of frizz you have.

It's awesome, try it (:What is a good hair straightener?
if you're looking for one you can find at target or walmart,

i suggest the conair infiniti straighteners.

i have the thick one and it works pretty well.

to keep your hair from getting staticy you can find products that seal in the moisture in your hair.
CHI has to be on e of the best out there, i love it! its pricy but a good investment. if your looking for something more inexpensive theres a white revlon one at wal-mart for like $20. but i'll admit it does damage your hair. look for ceramic ones they damage your hair less. also try using shiner (clear stuff that makes your hair shine) good luck =)
you can go to CHI-GHD.com to buy hair straightener,

very low price and the shipping is free and fast!

i bought two several months ago,one gave to my sister, and both works well.

    hope this helped

PAUL MITCHELL omg its amazing!! it doesnt frizz or dry out . it adds this shine aftr done straightening.. its amazing
T3 is the best. CHI is so last week

    QUESTION about HAIR STRAIGHTENERS?

i was wondering if the more expensive hair straighteners are alot better for your hairs health. My straightener was about 50-70 dollars. i was wonder if it is worth it for me to spend the extra money to by a chi or GHD??QUESTION about HAIR STRAIGHTENERS?
    buy a chi

anyways wat is a chiQUESTION about HAIR STRAIGHTENERS?
I just bought the new instyler. It's a bit more expensive than just a straighter but you get two of them when you order. I love it because it straightens better than any other straighter I have ever used but it also adds that touch of curl to my hair if I want it. My hair has never looked better.

  • Types of hair straighteners?

ok what does all of this mean

    -tourmaline ceramic

    -ceramic

    -teflon fiber ceramic

... what does it all mean and how will it affect my hair. And which is best for protecting/ not frying, damaging my hair??Types of hair straighteners?
Here's your basic information for a similar question I answered earlier today... Metal is gold plated, ceramic can be different things, black, silver or gold plated. Metal is specifically gold and ceramic tends to have different colors. Chi tends to be the exception... Ceramic is better because they add moisture and shine back into the hair sealing the cuticles shut.. metal just fries the hair and ends up opening the cuticle making it dull and not shiny and gives it a flat appearance... If you're looking for tourmaline http://www.the411onhair.com/hair-tools.h/a>

What hair straightener do you recommend?

Is that Chi thing good? What hair straightener do you recommend?
CHI is amazing! What hair straightener do you recommend?
i've used flat irons for about 10 years now and went through a bunch of them before i finally found the CHI global beauty straightener. i've had mine for about 5 years now, and i've only had to replace it once in all that time. it's amazing. the problem with a lot of flat irons is that they don't get hot enough but this one gets up to 370 F and makes your hair super flat and shiny. i love the CHI and recommed it to all my friends but if you don't end up getting it, at least make sure you get a straightener with ceramic plates. they work the best!
I actually like my straightener best...its a Remington Wet to Straight. I would not recommend trying to dry your hair with it but thats the point of it...either use on wet hair or dry. But if you put the hottest setting on dry hair it works even better! I've had it for a year and it was only $20 at Meijer lol. I got it after my Chi Iron (was $100) broke late one night and I had to get ready to go somewhere so I had no choice but to go to Meijer since the other stores were closed. Anyways, it was the best choice ever.
chis are very pricey but if your looking for affordable and dependable i would reccomend tourmline hot tolls ceramic flat irons. it gets really hot really fast and it works well and stays straight all day, mine was regularly like 75 but i got in on sale for like 45. just shop around :)

    I don't know what kind of hair you have, but i have naturally curly hair and it takes a long time to dry, so i recommend a Wet to Dry straightener because then you dont have to wait for your hair to dry to start straightening :}
Chi is really really really good. It keeps your hair straight for HOURS and does a really amazing job. I have EXTREMELY curly hair, and Chi straightens it right out. : D But beware- they break easily and should not have the cord wrapped around it.
The remmington wet to straight works good you can use it when your hair is wet and since it is ceramic it will not burn or damage your hair. In my opinion the chi is too expensive and its not all that great.
I've never personally used a Chi but i have heard good and bad things about it. The amika works well. I have had a ceramic infrashine for about 3 years now and it still works amazing. i would recommend it to anyone!
ghd all the way! They are the best quality straightener out there! Worth the extra money!

    Ciao

    P x
Any perm solution will do their all about the same just put it on and don't roll it up just comb thew with it , down word , it will straighten it , that's all there is to it .
I have a CHI and it's the best one I've ever had! Whatever you do, go with a ceramic one - it's so much better on your hair than metal!

    Here's mine : )

    http://www.my-hair-tools.com/images/pink/a>
The wet to straight by remmington.

My hair is a frizz and nothin but curl.

Used to take me 2 hours to do my hair. Now it only takes 45 minutes.
Paul Mitchell brand hair straightener buuut those are expensive

I suggest talking to your hair dresser its always good to have the opinion of a porfessional
i am not at home and i cant remember the name brand but it is the kind that u can stratien ur hair when it is wet or when it is dry.
i have the curliest hair ever and the Chi works. i use it all the time! it is soooo amazing. i own 4 of them. definatly get the chi!!!
    i use gillani.

its an italian striaghter, i have extremely curly hair so it has to be good. ahah

but its a little expensive. about 300 but its worth it :]
yes i have had one for two years. .. just get the normal black one cause that is what i have and it works great
GHD all the way don't get any other one they never compare, ghd are pricey but last years and are so nice and smooth on the hair if you have thick hair get the wide plate ones there wicked
Whatever straighteners you get, make sure they're ceramic straighteners. I have afro air, but it's relaxed. I've found the best so far is GHD straightners :o)
I heard the Chi works good, I use Remmington Wet 2 Straight and it gets my hair so straight! (I don't use it on wet hair though) its only like $30.00!
I like Le Angelique! I currently own one, %26amp; i've had no problems with it once so ever!

besides working great, it's Super Cute red/black leopard!!
Labspoke T3. Imported from America they keep your hair straight and sleek until you wash it. My sister has an afro and one straighten works days on end for her
no it isnt it doesn't work at all i would recommend a ceramic sraitener just look for it at target or walmart.
The chi will burn your hair. I recommend using the amika.

    loveamika.com

    Best of luck!
Straitening's for losers so i recommend not to.
my friend loves it i can not use it because my hair is very Straight already
Chi is very good, but quite expensive.
conair is amazing! its cheap and works great.. it lasted me for about 6 years
i also recomend CHI its the best and straightens our hair faster!!!
    Try ConAir
REMINGTON WET TO STRAIGHT ALL THE WAY!!!!

U K - Can any of the guys (or girls with very short hair) recommend a good hair straightener?

My son is mixed race and his hair is naturally curly. I put a cream on it to straighen it but when I blow dry to style, it goes frizzy and I have decided to buy a ceramic straightener. Can you tell me which one you use.U K - Can any of the guys (or girls with very short hair) recommend a good hair straightener?
Best straighteners are GHD - expensive but fantastic. Another good set is Remington much cheaper but just as good.

Good LuckU K - Can any of the guys (or girls with very short hair) recommend a good hair straightener?
vidal sassoon-拢15 from superdrugs,it has 21 heat settings and works a treat, and it gets short ends-really easy to use. The price of GHD is more about brand name than quality(dn't get me wrongs-it does the job)-don't waste money unless you got loads of its. xoxo
C2s are great they have titanium plates and are about the same price as GHDs
my bro has ghd's for boys.

they are like thinner ceramic plates than normal ones but they work.
GHD quite obviously. Who doesn't know about GHD
    ghd

Best hair straightener you have ever used?

I have a Solia, and it is amazing. I heard that Remmington makes a No Frizz one that is only $50 and it os supposed to work great? Does anyone have the Remmington no frizz flat iron? And also what is the best straightener you have ever used? Thanks :DBest hair straightener you have ever used?
Ya, I've heard that the Solia is good, but I think the Chi hair straighteners are awesome, there's no other that even comes close. I got this trial one that's really good directly from the Chi company itself. All I needed to do was try it out for at least 60 days and then give feedback every few days.

It works really awesome, it just heats up super fast and takes me about 5 minutes to straighten my hair and I got really long wavy hair.

I'm not sure if there are any left, but you can always try http://www.freesamplesfromheaven.com/chi/a>

I hope that helps :)Best hair straightener you have ever used?
I've never used the Remmington but i have an amazing flat iron! it's ';Answers by Vadal Sassoon'; it gets hot REALLY fast and it doesn't give any frizz. You can find one at CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart,or Target. They're about 30-35$
i have very long hair , i would never consider anything except GHDs

i use the mk4锛宼hey never let me down, and i have it in EBsilk.
The Amika flat iron. I LOVE it. It's ceramic and has floating plates. It works wonderfully and keeps your hair pretty straight if you sleep with it done. I love it.
    i have a GHD, %26amp; i love it [:

it was kind-of a lot of money, but it was well worth it !

you can get it at sephora in black or pink [:
i have GHDs and they are amazing!

they cost quite alot but i have had them for nearly 4 years now and theyre still working perfectly

i would definetley reccomend them :)x
    Conair Infinity 2inch (:

It works pretty good with my hair.

My hair straightener left a stain on my counter, is there any way to get rid of it?

I left my bright green straightener on all day and it ended up leaving a yellow stain. My hair straightener left a stain on my counter, is there any way to get rid of it?
If it's wood, sand it. That's about it.My hair straightener left a stain on my counter, is there any way to get rid of it?
    nope
Try a paste made of water and Oxyclean. It is pretty amazing. If that doesn't work, buy some TSP powder from any paint store. It will take out any stain but will also likely take thee finish of the counter if you use too strong a mixture. Start by using half as much powder as it says on the label and rinse if off quick.
    Try a pumice stone.

First check it on a spot that is not as visible, like the edge next to the tub to see if it leaves a bad looking mark.
If it is marble or a solid surface, you can take 500 grit sand paper and lightly sand the area until the stain is gone, then take a piece of 1000 grit and do the same until its smooth, finally wipe the area with marble polish, should be good as new.
depends what kind of counter it is - if it si melamine then forget it - if it is granite then yes - if it is any type of plastic base than forget it

Why won't my husband let me buy some new hair straighteners? They only cost 拢100.?

拢100 for hair straighteners!!! have u tried an iron its much cheaper lolWhy won't my husband let me buy some new hair straighteners? They only cost 拢100.?
Why don't you get a job and buy it yourself? Why won't my husband let me buy some new hair straighteners? They only cost 拢100.?
Tell you what. Shave your head and save the 100 quid.

    Blimey!!!
he might think they are too much, but thats the average price for flat irons in europe
maybe he likes your hair the way it is. has he told he likes it? are you listening to him? is he listening to you? come up with some kind of compromise. (or get a job of your own; that way he can't say a word about what you spend your money on)
Maybe because He likes ur hair curly
ghd straightners no doubt here the best, look on ebay i got some ghd s for 60pound,dont tell him you are getting them its up 2 u wot u buy u r an adult!!
if it makes you happy he shouldn't complain.
WTF? 拢100? You honestly can't find something better to spend that money on?
because he just doesnt understand, I know how important good straightners are but make sure they are good before you buy them you can get Good Hair Design-ing (not advertising promise) straightners on ebay for 拢70-拢80
Because he knows you will use them once and never again. Just like the hot rollers, the flat iron, and the foot wax kit.
maybe he doesnt like the thought of you looking good for other men? is he tight with money? get them anyway, it really shouldn't be his decision its only hair straighteners not a house!
theres the answer to your question right there.....100 dollars think of the freakin starving people in the world not your hair...or at least find something worth your money.
maybe he doesnt like your hair straight...?

according to 2007 fashion, straight hair is out, curly and wavy is in. also very short straight hair is in, like bobs.

so maybe its meant to be that u will not have a hair straightener?

If all esle fails hide the TV remote and hold it ransome until he buys u a hair straightener!
Maybe because he's a control freak, that or he wants you to have frizzy hair!
because he knows his wife very well
';Let';? I have a real problem with that one. 1st of all- I don't know what that is in US $ but...it may not be about the money, at all. Maybe, he likes your hair. Do you have a job? Who makes the rules? Is this a marriage or something else? People in a marriage work together to get the things that each one of them want. How long have you wanted these things? If you are like me, I want this, I want this. Then, wait about a week, or so. Ask him why he doesn't want you to have them. Is it the money or some thing else?

Grow a backbone, girl! Get what you want but do it without hurting others. Remember-there is always a way! $180 !?!?! You can find it less expensive, somewhere else.
...not sure how much that is in dollars, but it may be too much if your on a buget, or he may just be a controling sob
because you dont need hair.... go bald
try to think about his salary
That's btwn u and him, but that's a lot of money. I'm pretty sure that's more than the total contents of my bank account at the moment.

PS. For all the Americans out there who don't know how much that is, 拢100 is probably about US$180.
He's controlling. Buy what you want to, don't let him tell you what to do.
    i don't know... ask him

How do you fix the power button on your hair straightener if it gets stuck?

i thinks i can;t fix my straightener because i don't no how to fix it.........if i fix it,my be the straightener will boom!!!

What is an alternative for a hair straightener?

I was wondering what is an alternative for a hair strightener? Thanks(:What is an alternative for a hair straightener?
Chemical straightening is an alternative. It is permanent and you'd have to retouch your roots regularly if you want to keep it up.What is an alternative for a hair straightener?
Try chemically straightening your hair. Ask your hair stylist about the details. I heard it works
you can blow dry your hair straight.
there isnt really one except for a blowdryer

if you blow dry with a flat brush it works like a straightner :]
    Hair wrap

    google it

Is it safe to use a hair straightener (device) every day?

My hair is really curly and although I use several products to straighten it, every morning it still needs some 'corrections'. Is it safe to use a hair straightener (device) every day?Is it safe to use a hair straightener (device) every day?
Definitely try to use the flat iron as least as possible.

Although it is not healthy, make sure to get a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, as well as a deep conditioner to use every week. Also, to maintain your hair health be sure to get a leave-in conditioner and a good heat protectant.

It is safe, but not healthy. Make sure you get the above products, or you will seriously dry out your hair.

Now, another option is to get it permanently straightened, or relaxed. There are different methods, some better than others. This is good if you don't have time, but it is absolutely terrible for your hair and you will need to get your hair relaxed routinely, because of your new growing roots.

HAPPY HAIRIs it safe to use a hair straightener (device) every day?
No, but people do anyway. I have found blow drying my hair straight (with a special straightening end to put on the end of it, I don't know what they're called) gets the job done, just as good (if not better) than a straightener. I haven't gotten any split ends now, despite what straightening with flat irons has done. I also use Garnier Fructis overly damaged hair shampoo and conditioner (the new 3 moisturizers one) and only use the shampoo 2-3 times a week. I also have a Chi conditioner/mask thing I put in my hair every day. I bought it at TJ Maxx for about 8 bucks (used to be 18 score!). Even after a day of using it my hair is silky smooth! Good luck!
No because even though you use heat protecting products, it doesn't protect against ALL heat damage. Try reducing it to 2 times or 3 times a week and use an anti-frizz product or straightening balm/mousse to help keep the style longer. Also, using too many products especially everyday will make your hair look a bit greasy.
it is perfectly safe as long as you use a good heat protection spray this will stop the straighteners from doing any damage to your hair

i personally use either the vo5 spray http://www.superdrug.com/Styling-Product/V05-STRAIGHT+SMOOTH-TAMING-SPRAY-100ML/invt/180246%26amp;bklist= or the tresemme spray http://www.superdrug.com/Styling-Product/TRESSEMME-HEAT-DEFENCE-STYLING-SPRAY-300ML/invt/428302%26amp;bklist=

and if you are straightening your hair that often once a month i recommend you use a good henna wax conditioning treatment http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Henna-Treatment-Wax-Original-240g-Tub-Hair-Conditioner_W0QQitemZ230345622618QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id=%26amp;rvr_id=%26amp;cguid=3a51c3351200a0aad56344c3ffe35918 im sure i have seen this on sale at superdrug if not you will find it at sallys
Well no its not. But I straighten my hair A Lot. At night b4 I sleep and again in the morning. But after I got a new straightener its a remington one. Its like a dark pink my hair doesn't get split ends anymore also I use dove intense damage shampoo and conditioner and that shapoo really does help. Ever since I've been using it I haven't had one split end my hair looks soo healthy and I straighten it a lot. So maybe you should try it. It really does work.
its not. it will give u a lot of split ends so u will have to take procautions. use a anti heat damage serum every time u straten ur hair. also to keep it healthy condition it a lot. never wash without conditioning ur hair. use a leave in conditioner after ur done washing ur hair while its still wet. use a deep conditioner once a month at the least. also cut ends every few weeks and u should be good. as long as u do all this ur hair should stay healthy and u can straighten it every day!
its sorta safe, honestly the best you can do is put got 2 be sirum on it cause it protects from the flat iron but make sure its on the tips :), thats what i do for my hair, its SUPER frizzy and i always straighten it but i make sure that i put something first.
no its very unhealthy 2 use hair straightener every day...it will spoil ur hairs......and i fear that u may loose most of ur hairs if u continue 2 use hair straightner......so i advice u 2 use 2 much of oil on ur hairs 2 protect ur hairs.....then once a week u can use hair straigtner 2 make ur hairs look beautiful.......
i do..every morning and at night..if i dont it is really wazy and messy. i dont see anything wrong with using it everyday..
    no its very unhealthy.

i suggest go get an realaxer or tie down your hai at night .
    Yes, that's fine.

Just be sure to use a heat protection spray.

You could used ';Cream Of Natural'; ';Mild'; or ';Regular';, but make sure you know who's is doing the process, it could damage you hair, if leave for longer than it is...Good Luck....

    Ps...

If talking about Hot and Iron...Bead Head is a very good one, not that expense...about the liquid moisture, ';Nexxus'; have a really good one.....Matrix too....Anybody know where i can get a really good hair straightener that is not too expensive??
Try EasyStraight. It works for most hair types (Mine is coarse and thick and I've used it with fair success) It comes in either a 1 week straightener or a 3 month straightener(this is the one I used)

These products can be purchased many places like Walgreeens or ULTA among others. There are also maintenance products in the EasyStraight line to keep your hair straight longer
i got mine from right aid

and it was only 30 dollars

    it works great 2

or if u dont want 2 go 2 the store get it from online

    hope this helps :)
Conair has some good straihgteners. John Frieda hair serum is really good to prevent frizz.
Well I got mine from one of those annoying mall vendors. It's corioliss, about 80 bucks but worth every penny. Here's the link: http://www.folica.com/Corioliss_1__Fl_d2093.html if you want a really in expensive one, go to bath and body works. They are like 20 dollars no joke. I've never gotten one from there but my friend has on and says it works just as well as mine.

As for products. I use Bed Head stuff. It works great and smells really good too(:
i have a jibere. its titanium plates, not ceramic. i actually like them alot better, it leaves my hair really smooth, and it doesnt dry your hair out like a chi does. theyre about $50 at sallys.
Get a CHI. They don't dry out your hair, they actually help add moisture to it.

You can find them on ebay for about 80 dollars with shipping.

In all reality, nothing is better than ceramic plates, besides for polished ceramic plates.
i have an enzo milano straightener.

it's ceramic so it i can straighten it every morning pretty fast.

my hair gets a bit frizzy (i've been doing this for a year) but i tame it a bit with different erbal essence products.

ebay is probably one of the cheapest places to get a flat iron.

i got mine new for like 25 bucks! (my sister got hers retail for $200 yikes.)

  • I have bought HA hair straighteners?

I am growing my hair to my shoulders so i can straighten it and style it, i have bought HA hair straighteners the one's celebrities use and i paid 拢170 do you think it was worth it or could i have spent less and got the same results :)I have bought HA hair straighteners?
I prefer HAI...But whatever you are using is probably quality which is extremely important because it will damage your hair less in the long run, so I'm sure it was a good buy!I have bought HA hair straighteners?
well i have a 50$ straight-ner and it works very well
I've never heard of HA hair straighteners, I've just bought some GHD ones and they are fab..i love them!
any ceramic ones are good, I still use my old GHD and they are great
GHD I think there the best but dependd on how bad your hair is
GHD straighteners are cheaper than that i guess and they are really good, hairdressers use them. I personally havn't got them but i got ones which go up to 240 degrees and they are great and i paid 84.99 for them.

In your opinion, what is the best type of hair straightener?

I had a hair Straightener but it broke. It was not a very high quality one, and it didn't work well. I am wondering what hair Straightener gives the best results. I have medium/thick hair. In your opinion what hair straighteners are the best from your experience? In your opinion, what is the best type of hair straightener?
I think that paul mitchel has the best hair straightener it heats up in like 30 seconds and doesn't damage your hair as much as others do.In your opinion, what is the best type of hair straightener?
I've used over a dozen straighteners; I have fairly thick and very long hair that curls in VERY tight spirals, so it's hard to get my hair straight!

The straightener I've had the best luck with is made by HerStyler. I like it because it gets hot very quickly, it doesn't damage the hair because of the type of iron they use, and probably the best feature is how easy it is to just manipulate the straightener and the end of your hair to curls the ends under. You can also use it to make controlled curls all over your hair, if you want something different. It's much more versatile than most other flat-irons that I've used, and it's lasted me over 2 years now (using it almost every day).
i just got the FHI Runway which is pretty pricey but you should really look at there flat irons.. they have ones that are cheaper but really either way they are amazing also because you have thick hair they will work wonders. trust me i have tried so many and these ones a durable, last long, heat up fast, they don't damage hair at all, and are overall great.

just google FHI and there will be main website.
    Paul Mitchell smooth

i use it and works very well for me i have medium frizzy crazy hair and ends up like another persons hair, super smooth
You can choose GHD, if you don't have any problem with the price. Because GHD is bit costly.

But CHI is not bad also.
Chi is amazing, but also a bit pricey. If you want great hair, you have to be willing to spend a dollar or two!
GHD obviously! They are literally amazing!
    HAI http://www.folica.com/HAI_Convertable_d4/a>

I own this one and it works great. I've had it for three years and it's still in really good condition.
    CHI!

Where can i buy a CHI hair straightener?

i'd like to buy it from a store, not online.Where can i buy a CHI hair straightener?
Target or Sallys Beauty SupplyWhere can i buy a CHI hair straightener?
Target sells Chi for around $140.
    I'd try ULTA.
    Sally's Beauty Supply, some Targets.

WHAT IS THE BEST HAIR STRAIGHTENERS?

money isnot a problem just list the best hair straighteners in order from ur opinionWHAT IS THE BEST HAIR STRAIGHTENERS?
so far i would have to say the ghd IV styler. It leaves your hair really straight or you can curl it or you can make it wavy. It also leaves your hair really shiny. It also is hot in a matter of like 40 seconds. It also has a sleep mode [with it basically turns off] which is fabulous if you for get to turn it off in 30 minutes. the plastic on top of the straightener doesn't get hot. And it comes with a DVD. it is the best. And it wont let it self over heat so it last longer..

trust me its worth the 250.

you can get it a sephora.WHAT IS THE BEST HAIR STRAIGHTENERS?
Everyone had said CHI well actually CHI is one of the worst all it does is completely fry your hair!

I recommend the Paul Mitchell Straightener! it's the best just expensive if you cant afford either one of the Paul Mitchells then get a 30$ revlon one it's better for your hair then a CHI!

    Hope i helped!
Ghd, better than chi, because the three stylists I worked with all had chi's and all of them broke under a year. Being so expensive it should not do that. They all have Ghd's now and you just have to slide it through your hair once and it's straight. Get it they are awsome!!
    CHI baby!

    It's amazing.

Just take super-care of it... It's pretty pricey, but so worth it.

It's top of the line, all the celebs use it.

It's around 200$. You can get it for 150 though.
The CHI is simply amazing! and mine was around $150 but it was worth it highly recommend it
    The CHI.

    By far.

Just be careful with the cord.

    Go crazy (:
    CHI
    chi allll the way
