Best hair straightener for my hair type and needs?

I have naturally straight hair and i don't need to do anything to make it straight, just a quick blow dry. But i just got a new razor cut hairstyle just below my shoulders and i feel that a hair straightener would give it the sharp and edgy look i want. I have never looked into hair straighteners because i didn't think i need one, any suggestions for something under $30?Best hair straightener for my hair type and needs?
