Does it damage your hair any more than using a normal straightener (not a wet to straight one)?Is it okay to use a 'wet to straight' hair straightener on dry hair?
it is ALOT better just to use it on dry hair.
Doing it on wet/damp/moiste haiir will dry your hair out until it will eventully break off. i highly reccomend not doing this, only if highly need to! your hair will get so thin you will need hair extentions/wig.
it is so much better just to use it on dry hair. its the same as any other straighter then.Is it okay to use a 'wet to straight' hair straightener on dry hair?
doesn't matter, as long as your hair is bone dry. i tried it on wet hair before (barely damp, not even sopping wet) and it made the worst sizzling sound that i knew couldn't be healthy for my hair. just make sure it's ceramic-plated, 'cause it's way less damaging than one that's metal.
The 'wet to straight' hair straightener I have has settings on it for dry, damp, and wet hair. Look on your straightener to see if yours has it. The numbers to raise the temperature on mine is color coded. Blue- dry hair. Purple-damp hair. Red-wet hair.
Its most likely good on both wet and dry hair. It should be just fine on your dry hair. do a test strand of hair underneath. if it frizzes it then its too hot and you have to wet your hair. But i think it should be just fine.
off courses it damages your hair and then your hair lost it's shine but after shower you can use it.
No not really. But Make sure your hair is pretty dry. ( wash it before )
