Aveda light elements smoothing fluid. It worked wonders for me. I'm unsure of the straightener, because I have a Chi. It is a little pricey but it lasts a long time and it is so worth it. i also have really thick hair and I use Simply Sleek Straightening Balm from John Frieda and Straigh Answer Frizz Ease Spray
