Hair straighteners?????

i want a nice one tht is cheap and will keep your hair straight for a long time, any suggestions?Hair straighteners?????
well the easiest straightener is the Con-air Wet to Straight which straightens your hair while its wet with no blow drying. And if you want to blow dry your hair the Chi straighteners are good too they are small and light weight and they are not that expensive.

** Hope I could help!!!!**

Hair straighteners?

i am 13 and i luv straightening my hair as i have wavy hair. i have andrew collinge straighteners which arent that gd and im not alound to get ghds as my mum thinks its a waste of money can any1 recommed some good hair straighteners? and what is the difference between normal straighteners and ceramic ones ?Hair straighteners?
I have a pair of Trevor Sorbie ceramic straighteners, they were around 拢45 (I think) from Boots. My sister has GHDs and in my opinion they are no better than mine and mine were almost half the price!

Also, it isn't true that ceramic straighteners will not damage your hair. You still need to use a good heat protector spray before you use them (I use Toni %26amp; Guy, 拢6ish from Boots/Superdrug).Hair straighteners?
Hi there

I just upgraded my straighteners - my hair's a nightmare! There are 2 reasons why GHD ones are supposed to be so good - they are really hot, and they're ceramic. I got some Babyliss ones that were about 拢30 which are ceramic and go up to 230 degrees C - about the same as the GHDs. I can't believe how good they are. I've had a go on my friend's GHDs, and I think my 拢30 are just as good.

The other thing to remember is that you have to use a straighteners spray so that you don't dry out your hair. There's a good one by Lee Stafford or Tony and Guy (all in Boots).

Have fun!
Ceramic are best...I have a conair and a revlon and they both work great.
get jml hair straighteners.they're just like ghd, only cost me 鈧?0.trust me theye're great
I personally think its down to technique. Ask athe the hairdressers the best way to straighten your hair. Remember to use protective spray as well.

I bought some hair clamps as my hair is thick and wavy to section it up.
ceramic straighteners get hotter than the normal ones ask your mum to get you the GHD,s as thy are kinder to your hair as you will use them less, thy do cost a lot more than the normal ones but thy are 100% better for your hair ask for a set as your Christmas present
definitly go for ceramic ones

boots sell them for about 30 quid i believe and ive heard they are quite good
you MUST at least get ceramic. My wife uses a Revlon that was pretty cheap at about 18 bucks. It works much better than the cheaper ones.
I use Remmingtons.

i even converted two friends from using GHD's to Remmingtons- they're about 拢25 from boots and are so much better!!!
About 30quid!
ceramics dont ruin your hair like some do. but they are expensive
straighteners are great if you use them properly - I have ceramic ones and would not use anything else, as the others just pull and tear your hair. save up - or buy on ebay (check their rating first)
Hi,

GHD are the best you can get so try %26amp; save for some, check out e-bay they have some on there. Ceramic straighteners are smoother on the hair %26amp; do not damage as much.
i have ghd and dont find them very good i find if you want straight hair to dry it in sections with a round brush untill completely dry and then section it and straighten i used to have remingtons and they were good too
My mums the same,i dont get it if it makes us happy why not?

i have tryed lots of straighteners but if your looking for a quick straight use nicky clark,if you have a bit more time use remmington.

Seperate your hair into layers.do half at a time, clip half up,layer up the other half, and just straighten it like that so much easier ( then a trick a leart from my mate) flip your head upside down and just re-do the under layers, stops it from going wavey.

normal can damager your hair and make it look static, ceramic protects.
I now use Tresemme straighteners, they were about 拢20 in Boots (UK) but I can't remember if they were in a sale or not. They are the best and really straighten my hair (which is not only curly but super frizzy too :( ) I also use Tresemme heat protection spray which also does a good job.
babyliss (narrow), or try Ethel Austin if theres one in your area...they sell some good hair products, maybe ceramic thin, i got my neice some for her birthday 2 years ago and she still has them now...her hair always looks good... ceramic straighteners are very good, i dont rate Andrew Collinge...babyliss heat up straight away...and dont damage your hair...quite reasonable too...add them to your christmas list...
I shall never understand. girls with curly hair want it straight, girls with straight hair get a curly perm. beautiful bouncy women wish they were tall and slim and the slim ones want a more defined chest. clever women wish they were pretty and gorgeous ones want to be loved for their intelligence. I'm sure that it is all done to confuse us. it works.
Find a really big hardcover book that you already read and put parts of your hair in the middle of it than close it and repeat until all your hair is straight... sorry I'm a guy, that's the best hair advice I have for that question.
GHD's are superior but if you really can't get them the 拢25 Remmington ones (as someone has already mentioned) are pretty good. Make sure you use a straightening serum as well, as not to kill your hair. Toni and Guy do a good one for about 拢7 xxx
GHD's, and that's coming from a man with a skinhead (My missus has them).
Go on to www.asos.com . I got some really good professional(hair tools) ones on there for 拢30. My mate has ghd's and they're just as good.
ceramic straighteners r men to protect ur hair.. best is remington, or baby liss for me..
eya im also 13 and like most of us im straightner mad to i have tresemae straightners i wouldnt change them for the world also ur betta off using straightning cream or protection cream/spray to make sure your hair isnt gettin rli damage by the waii ghds break really easilly good luck !
Save up and get GHD they are the very best anything else is just a waste of time and money. I bought GHD salon straightners and they cost 拢108 but it was money well spent. Talk to your Mum and tell her you'll do the dishes for a year!
have you considered Glass or Ionic straighteners. I have heard these are very good.

Best hair straighteners?

I'm looking into buying an expensive hair straighter in 2 weeks, i wanted the sedu but it is unavailable so my choices are Chi(pink one) and Paul brown hawaii hair straighter, which one is good? Which one will make my hair soft and silky and shiny. What are your experiences with them? Which one will be well worth the money?Best hair straighteners?
you should get an instylerBest hair straighteners?
From my experience with a pink Chi that I've bought from a salon...It is fantastic! I've tried so many inexpensive Straightenersrs and this is the only one that actually works effectively! It is well worth your money! I've had mines for over 1 year and it works the same like i got it the 1st day. I have wavy, frizzy, curly hair and my pink chi does the job of straightening and with biosilk on my hair prior to using the iron it gives it a shine! good luck!
i would say the chi i use them all the time at my school (i am getting my cosmo license). but also it is the preparation of straightening to keep it straight. i have curly hair and they work great on mine, which is hard to find. but when you blow dry your hair use a moose or gel to protect your hair from the heat and to help it hold the straightness. also before you straighten and after you blow dry use a heat protector it might cost a little for for the extra products but it will be better in the long run.
i would get the Chi.

So much better than the other.

it makes your hair soft.

but you have to use hair products to make it shiny, lol.

and i have a chi.

they last FOREVER.

and are amazing.

the Chi is worth it,definatly.
CHI is the best hair straightener i have ever used, but for best results make sure to apply a serum before you straighten your hair I use Chi silk infusion and it makes my hair silky, shiny and smooth
i use a black chi (im assuming its pretty much the same thing) i've had it for almost four years and its amazing:] it doesnt make your hair all dry it actually makes mine softer.

What is the best hair straightener out there?

Under 300 bucks, that doesnt completely FRY your hair off? i know they all do, but you know. What is the best hair straightener out there?
remmingtonWhat is the best hair straightener out there?
Maxiglide is the BEST. My hair is also very thick and VERY curly and it does wonders. It has built-in pins so you can do it with one hand and you don't need to hold a brush in the other. It also heats up to 422 degrees, but that's at it's highest setting and it has ten so don't worry about it being too hot. It also has a built-in steam chamber so that you can steam your hair [I know that sounds funny] while striaghteneing it which helps to keep it soft and shiny. It's about $100. Plus you get lots of other stuff in the package [humidity shield, shampoo, conditioner, silica serum which would add up to about $60 but you get them pretty much free]. Here's a link to the website: http://www.maxiusbeauty.com/

P.S.: I used the Remmington Wet 2 Straight before I got my Maxiglide, and it's a really good straightner too, but where it took me about an hour and a half to completely straighten my hair with it, it takes me about 45 minutes with the Maxiglide.

Hope I was helpful!

Happy Holidays! =]
chi 80-130

sedu 100-130+

GHD bout 190

HAI bout 80

Solia 70-90 even though solia is the cheapest it takes really good care of ur hair and keeps it real soft. my personal favorite

conair is also good and cheap bout 40

hope that helps
Depends on the texture and length of your hair. I just finally bought one and I was able to research ratings and choose one based on my hair type. Ultimately I chose a Solia 1 1/4 inch and am very happy with it (I paid $88). I've heard great things about the Chi, but check out Folica.com before buying. Great info and pics of befores and afters from consumers as well as their personal reviews.
There are a lot of good flat irons you could buy, but try to find a ceramic straightener. Also, don't forget to use a heat protecting oil spray on your hair first. Even the best irons will fry your hair if you don't protect it.

Good luck.
try a CHI. i haven't tried one, but almost all of my friends have one and their hair looks B-E-A-utiful!!! (and undamaged)
I have a solia and its great, its gets it very straight and not alot of breakage, just dont do it everyday, only use it once or twice a week if you can.
i have bought and used so many high priced ones and it either took me forever or fried my hair.. my sister got one and it says ';straight to the maxx'; on it and i love it.. it takes me like 15-20 minutes if that.. and it hasn't fried my hair at all.. it works great and i think she got it from walgreens or something like that.. good luck and best wishes! hope you have a merry christmas and a very happy new year!
my friend has a CHI. her hair loooks amazing and it's inexpensive.
Yeah, I've heard that Chi is the best. I don't have one... cause they are to expensive for me but if you got the money to spend on a hair straightener, try that one. I heard they are about 100 bucks.
If you are looking for a mechanical device use a ceramic hot comb or flat iron. If you are looking for a chemical straightener order Rusk Radical Anticurl Original Forumla 1 online.

What are the best hair straighteners?

I have really really curly hair and i would prefer a wet / dry one. What are the best hair straighteners?
The Tourmaline T3 Wet/dry iron is the greatest!!!

I have super curly hair, I cant say enough good about this iron. It makes your hair soooo soft and shiny, seriously go for that one. If you want it cheaper, try ebay, otherwise its around $200. Good luck! What are the best hair straighteners?
well i use gold n hot but my friend use this straightener that stop it from being so curly but ask the store clerk to help u when u buy one
Okay I have used many that are ALOT better than the chi! I wouldn't know about one for wet/dry, but at Sally's they have many and you can talk to a salesperson about your presences. The one I have came from them, it works wonders! Has a long cord so I'm not stuck at the plug and it gets up to 420f! As soon as I plug it in its ready to go =). So yes I say take a trip to Sally's.

Don't forget the warranty the straighteners do get worn out
the CHI no doubt about it. it is also good for your hair which many straigteners arent. i would really highly recomend. ULTA also has them on sale a lot or they might come with some free product or something like that
i think ghd's are the best!!

i have a pair and i hinestly couldnt live without them! =D

x
i have a very good iron straightener called GAMA italy its ceramic professional... i only pass it one time and it leaves my hair straight all day i also put a after bath cream(sally's called ion) 2 help it even more...and also helps so i dont burn so much my hair.
the chi
CHI makes a good one, also InfraShine is good.

Chi makes really nice ones, but their Wet to Dry straightener costs about $200.
CHI straighteners

but good luck cause they're $100

Remington Wet to Straight (the large plate size)

I have long, rediculus frizzy hair and every day when I get out of the shower I run this over it and in about 20 minutes its stick straight. I got it at Walgreens. It's a miracle worker.
  • cartridge
  • HAIR STRAIGHTENERS?!?

does this ';ionic treatment'; really works in what it comes to HAIR STRAIGHTENERS? i bought this BABYLISS that doesn't have that ionic thing and when i come outside and it's windy and raining and the weather is a bit wet, my hair curls up and is frizzy again.

could anyone tell me please :DHAIR STRAIGHTENERS?!?
get a Chi flat iron, they are pricy but worth it. Its what hairdressers use.

EDIT: Sorry, I don't know about the ionic treatment, never used it. And chi's do not ruin your hair, I've used one for over a year and have very healthy hair.HAIR STRAIGHTENERS?!?
chi flat irons ruin your hair. you should use a basic straightener life a conair, or something you could get at CVS. most creams dont work, so you are best off using one of those

    good luck :)
theres no need to spend so much money on a chi or ghd's.

get either the remington straight in a stroke or some hedkandi ones.

    Hair straighteners?

my birthday is in october and i am getting a hair straightener can u guys please tell me if this one here is any good for its price ?http://www.myhaircare.com.au/Solid_Ceramic_64mm_Flat_Iron_113.html J

Just go to that website i may post another question later when i talk to mum about prices and you can tell me what ones i can get for under that

    thanks byeHair straighteners?
Thats awful expensive for just a hair straightener. I have extremely wavy hair and I use a conair hair straightener that cost me only like $25-30 bucks. I bought it at walmart and It is the exact same model here.:

    http://www.conair.com/tourmaline-ceramic-straightener-with-straightening-pins-p-461.html

Its only $44 online and It works great and it gets really hot too!!!

Its definitely a good buy.Hair straighteners?
I think that that price is a bit steep for a babyliss flat iron. I would personally recommend that you check out Folica.com. They actually have that same flat iron for sale at around 80 dollars.

    http://www.folica.com/BaByliss_Profes_d1/a>

They have a huge selection of straighteners available on that site, so I would suggest that you shop around and read the reviews before you make a final decision. Good Luck!
Thats a good product, but quite expensive.

You could invest in a GHD for that price, they are the ultimate best and you certainly won;t regret them.
It looks pretty good, I've heard good things about the babybliss straighteners.
    go fr it
