What is the best hair straightener?

I want to straighten my hair with one of those kits you can buy at the drugstore or a store like walmart. NOT the actual straigteners you plug in but the chemicals you put in your hair. I have baby fine hair that has natural curl but does straighten very easily. I have heard some horror stories about people trying to straighten at home and a week after there hair starts falling out. Does anyone have any experience with these kits and which one would you reccomend.What is the best hair straightener?

i use herbal essence's dangerously stright and a chi straightener and my hair works great! i have never heard of that chemical stuff and my hair has never fell out and i have been using a straightener for 3 years
often i use a kids perm for my hair ,i does not burn and it maked your hair baby fine,it does not have harsh chemicals in it ,i think you should seel the advice from a hair prof,thet are very helpful,even if you let them do your hair they will do a great job.

oh wow I didn't know they have that stuff that's freaking sweet! I need some of that! the best hair straightner though is the wet to straight you can get them at target or wal-mart they're not too expensive and they work really well! just don't actually use it when your hair is wet because then it just becomes this big frizzy mess! use garnier fructis sleek and shine after you wash your hair and then let it dry or blow dry it then straighten your hair! your hair will stay straight all day and no frizz! woo! lol
