How to clean a Hair straightener????

I have a ceramic straightener and i don't really know what happend to it. It looks like its burnt a little. Is there any way to clean it so that goes away??How to clean a Hair straightener????
After a course of time, they will burn. Sad but true :( Even my stylist has burnt curling irons. Here is how I clean mine:





Turn the curling iron on VERY VERY low.


Take a damp cloth towel (Damp the towel with water ONLY) and scrub off the burn, (do this very quickly before the towel gets too hot)


Then I turn it off, let it cool down and scrub the rest of the burnt off the curling iron with a dry towel.

the same thing happened to me and i used iron cleaner it get everything off and works better after you use it. you can find it at walmart by the irons and ironing boards its a tube and a cloth and usually are hanging up. trust me it work and read instructions carefully. good luck!!
If it looks burnt, you should go to the store that sold it to you. Ceramic isn't supposed to burn. Don't use water, but I guess try using a dry towel or something. Research on the internet if that helps :P
have the exact same problem.......did you leave it on one day when you went to school that happend to me and it looks burned now
Try using some baby wipes.
