Advice on hair straighteners?

so there are ones that say wet to dry, does that mean with a regular hair straightener your hair should be dry? i use products that claim to straighten hair but they dont work how i want them. sunsilk used to make a hair straightener but now i cant find it anywhere....Advice on hair straighteners?
yes with a regular hair straightner your hair should be perfectly dry, if not you can burn your hair and damage it pretty badly. if your looking to spend a lot of money for a good straightner try paul mitchell, theyre expensive but work really well.Advice on hair straighteners?
wet to dry straightener suck! i bought one because the box was so convincing. then when i went to go try it with my hair slightly damp, it singed off my hair, sparked like crazy, and the friggen set on fire! it was so weird. so i recommend not buying that type of straightener :)
the straighteners that say wet to dry u can use when ur hair is wet the other brands u can NOT use on WET HAIR it will DAMAGE ur hair so dont use it but those producks sometimes only helpwith not damageing ur hair while straitening so yeh take my advice plz
