What is an ionic hair straightner?? I use a CHI and so far that has been the BEST thing to ever happen to my hair. All over Hollywood and the country girls and sallons are crazing over CHI hair straightners, their ceramic and not metal, anything other then metal is better, really. Are ionic hair straighteners better really?
I have one that is copper covered or whatever. It's called extacy or whatever. Basically a straightener that gets HOT and has a curved edge does the best job.Are ionic hair straighteners better really?
Definitely because the water molecules get disolved not by heat, which is damaging to the hair, but by ion. Also, as a side note to what other people have said here so far, all ceramic tools generate ions.
A good brand to try is Chi brand irons. They really work. Ionic does make a difference in hair dryers though.
you can't really tell the difference. Make sure you get a ceramic one. go to a beauty supplier store, not wall-mart or target. The sales lady will help you pick one out. Good ones cost between $50 and $100, so be ready for the big price tag.
Hi, a good pair of hair straighteners are GHD's. They are absolutely fantastic and come in 3 sizes, they retail from 拢80 - 拢100 but they are worth the money. All top hair dressers use them and most people I know own a pair. I have some and I ordered mine from www.hqhair.com.
If you think that they are expensive then you are not the only one but seriously....ask any hairdresser and they will tell you how good they are. When I got mine I couldn't stop using them! And they have lots of added extra bonuses- a swivel cord to stop tangles, a l-o-n-g wire, SOLID ceramic, IONIC (which was what your question was about), good design, quick to do your hair with, heat up to full temperature in 10 seconds etc... THEY REALLY ARE THE BEST STRAIGHTENERS EVER! check out the website, hope I helped!!!
Yes. The thing is the ionic doesn't burn your hair.
