I have heard of many hair straighteners but i don't know which would be the best for thick curly hair??
A conair, chi, sedu????What type of hair straightener is best for thick curly hair???
Don't go with a conair- they're cheap, and tend to not get hot enough. I've also tried the CHI and I wasn't impressed.
I have super thick and curly hair, and the straightener I've had the best results with is an ION Conditioning Ceramic iron. It's navy blue, and has a digital tempurature reading- and you can set it anywhere from 200-450 degrees. I got it at Sally Beauty Supply. It put me out about $150, but it works like a dream. It makes my hair straight, silky and shiny.
Also, after washing your hair, apply some Redken Anti-Snap- it keeps your hair strong and healthy. After your hair is dry, before straightening it, put on some protective heat activated spray- Chi makes a good one, but Thermasilk does too if you want a lower priced one. What type of hair straightener is best for thick curly hair???
my family went thru 5 CHI in 3 yrs. Chi breaks within a
few months and you have to pay $35 plus shipping to get
it fixed.
Chi is being recalled now due to fire hazards. see:
