i have a ceramic one.Can hair straighteners damage hair? how to prevent it if it does? plz help.......?
depending on how hot your straightener is .. if you keep on using it .. like everyday the end result is a lot of split ends and really thin hair .. but if you choose to use it all the time i suggest for you to use a serum to at least give some protection to your hair ;) if not just stop using the straightenerCan hair straighteners damage hair? how to prevent it if it does? plz help.......?
if you use it everyday then yeah but the same goes for hairdryers so nothing much to worry about just use it every second day maybe? by the way..................................donworry so much!
can? They DO damage the hair. No, You can't prevent the damage, No matter how hot it is, It will still damage your hair. You can get a heat protector, But that will only protect to a point.

-Turn the temperature down

-Use a hair protector spray

-Use shampoos that help repair damaged and dry hair

-Or, don't straighten it every day (:
