Run cold water over it until the pain lessens, but at least fifteen minutes if you can. Don't put an ice cube or icy water on it, because there's a chance you can damage the tissue.

Once you've done that (which stops the burn from getting worse), pat it dry very gently.

If it's red and tender but no blistering, you have a first degree burn. For a first degree burn, you can apply aloe or hydrocortisone cream. Cover it with a bandage.

If there's any blistering, it's a second degree burn. Wash it gently with mild soap and water, and make sure not to get any . Apply an antibiotic ointment (some have pain relievers) and cover it with a bandage.

If the skin is broken, or if it is weeping fluid, don't apply anything!

Do NOT put butter on it, even though that's commonly recommended. (Check Web MD if you think I'm wrong. NO BUTTER.)What is the best and quickest way to take the sting out of a burn from a hair straightener?
With any burn you must let cold water run on it for least 15 minutes...

then you can put there cold aloe vera cooling gel
Put cold water over the burn. It will take the pain away.
Run some cold water over it, then cover it with vaseline and put a band aid over it. That should help.
i always run it under icy cold water or put an ice cube on it right away and taht helps n then u dont get a nasty blister
