How long does it take to straighten YOUR hair (with a hair straightener)?

It takes me at least an hour because my hair is thick and super curly in its natural state. Lucky people whose hair only takes 10 minutes to straighten .. :P

Oh snap. Lol, even our avatars are the same. We must have the same hair: thick and curly. Mine takes over an house with so much layering and then when I finish it stays like that for about another hour before it goes curly again. Disaster! So I just embrace the curls and let my hair go wavy.


P.S. If you're like me if you shampoo and condition your curls (and comb in the shower) and then add lots of product and blow-dry while combing, it kind of goes more wavy then curly, and I like that effect more I think =]How long does it take to straighten YOUR hair (with a hair straightener)?

i take like 45 mins - 1 hour.


yeah it sounds pretty crazy, but my hair is so


uncontrollable at times, i just can't do anything about it.
well, my hair is pretty straight so i usually just straighten the ends of my hair (since they usually have creases from sleeping) and it takes like 5 minutes or less, maybe sometimes more if i'm trying to style it.
about an hour and a half :(





I have the same hair type as you, but because of heat from the straighter it sometimes re-curls my previously straightened bangs and hair near my forehead haha

5 minutes max! my hair is a short concave, its so flat at the back i dont need to do it .. the front is short to but very curly .. so only 5 for me = )
It only takes me around five minutes to completely straighten my whole head. :) I have pretty thin hair and it's only got a wave, so I consider myself lucky! ;D
my hair is pretty wavy/curly too. it takes me about 20 minutes because it goes to about my shoulders. when i had super long hair it took about an hour! lol

I only straighten the ends of my hair tho cuhz like .. the ends kinda flip up since my hair is wavy .
