First Step- Let it sit for a couple of days.
Second Step- Let a cold water cloth sit on it for 3 hours.
Third Step- Blow dry it with a blow dryer.
Fourth Step- If there is a any burn mark left, paint a thin coat over it.

You do realize that if your wooden dresser has burn marks on it, that you could've burnt down your house.
O... so done that it sucks! You have to go to a place that can repair that but you can probley just paint over it
don't ever leave your hair straightener on a bare wooden dresser like that! You could burn the whole house down!
