Looking for some decent hair straighteners?!?

Hello!

I'm looking for some decent hair straighteners for under 拢50.

Not bothered about the make, but they need to be really good!

My hair is flicky, wavey, sometimes curly. It goes however it wants!

I currently have Babyliss ones, but they are about 3 years old, and they are starting to not warm up!

So, can you give me any advice about the best hair straighteners out there for under 拢50.

In England.

Thanks, I'll choose a best answer also.Looking for some decent hair straighteners?!?
i know people say to get GHDs but i compared mine with a friends' pair of GHDs and we both thought mine were better -

babyliss pro 230

theyr really good, cheap, warm up really fast and wont burn your hair (unless you keep them in the same place for 5mins lol)

also advise you use heat protection spray... i use wella... bit more expensive but lasts ages cos u hardly need any, just one squirt every time you straightenLooking for some decent hair straighteners?!?
i say the GVP it is like the same as the CHI just way cheaper on the box it actually is compared to the CHI
Perhaps you should spend a little more and get one that will last more than 3 years. I use GHD. (stands for good hair day)
you can get straightners in the market for way way less than 拢50. for example, if u live in nottingham u can get straightners in the victoria centre market for even less than 拢20 and they are good. i have one and it heats quick and it also does the job good.
tbh your best bet for straighteners is the ghd's but they tend to be very expensive (拢150-拢200). otherwise I'd suggest Remington's. if my memory serves me correctly, i think they've got new ones out the have silk proteins in them to help stop your hair frizzing or going static. i may have the brand wrong tho. there's an ad on tv

i know how irritating it can be when straightening, i have similar hair to you, it goes mad the second any sign of moisture comes anywhere near it.
well u can buy

babyliss,

nicky clarke,

braun,

remington

vivdal sassoon,

morhpy richards (sale)

for all under 拢50 that are pretty good

but personally i prefer using remington or babyliss out of all of them but currently i have tresemme and i am going to buy new ones because it doesn't straighten my hair very well and i have sort of thick longish hair.
go on www.hairscissors.co.uk

and get some FHI straighteners

theyre 拢50 and as good as GHD's =]

xx
Umm... I don't know how much this would be in ';England Money';, but mine was $25. I got it from a salon. It works really good. There is also a ';one-year limited warranty'; on it. There are ten heat levels on it and it doesn't get hot on the outside. It has a plastic coating. The brand is Hot Tools. The model is 1190. The website is http://www.HelenofTroyUSA.com
I use a cricket. It was about 50$ and I have had it for 3 years now and it still works wonders. You can not get it at the store though, it is a salon brand. Good luck.
You would be better off saving up your money and getting a ghd. They cost about 鈧?00 here but they are the best. You will go through so many of the other cheaper versions it will be worth the extra in the end.
Hi hun, Braun satin hair are good they protect your hair from damage and leave it really glossy- also the Remington wet 2 straight ones are very good they leave my hair poker straight and my hair stays straight. They also save time as you can dry and straighten in one go.

Hope this helps xx
ummm a chi at ulta! they are the best ones and they dont burn yuor hair!
