What's the best hair straightener or flat iron?

I use Revlon and it's not very good. I saw ads for Remington Wet 2 Dry and Conair Ionic Steam Straightener which looked very convincing. Which of the two would you recommend (unless you have a better one in mind)?What's the best hair straightener or flat iron?

Gives shine, and actually straightens first try. They're really expensive though. ($100+)

The Wet 2 Dry is a really crappy one, I had that one and it wasn't worth buying it. Ive seen the commercials for the Conair one and ive been wanting to try that, id go for that one (:
The brand CHI is very good, it lasts for a long time, but it is pricey at the cheapest it is probably $100, I bought one for my friend that was around $200.
Out of those 2 I would probably choose the Conair. But I have a CHI and it works really well.
i use ghds and i think they work really well .
go to CVS they have really good straighteners!
