After 6 years of solid use on my Muster, it's finally packed in. I truly adored my Muster, it did such a wonderful job.
I'm buying a new straightener and cost isn't anything to worry about.
I'm unsure if I should buy another Muster or go with another brand. I have thick, curly/long hair.
I don't want to buy cheap, I'm buying quality. Any suggestions? What type of hair straightener should I buy?
I would suggest a Chi, they're the best on the market from what I understand, my roommate has it and she knows a lot about hair care because of her job. What type of hair straightener should I buy?
what i have learned having thick long curly hair is that it doesnt really matter the brand or how much it is. what matters is the tempature it heats up to. ive heared that the chi is really good but i have also heared that the one from walmart thats about 30 bucks does really well. i have the one from walmart for about 30 bucks its the remington wet to straight and it heats up to 203-375F degrees. i think the chi heats up to 370. i would find some sites that give reviews on a product before buying. ive heared that that chi breaks for alot of people. but if you were so happy with the other straightner why risk with another brand go buy the same one.

this site has reviews for all kinds of straightners.
DON'T BUY A CHI!!!
Okay listen...
I have been doing hair a while and the biggest miss conception is that chi is the way to go. Originally all hair straitners were metal. Chi was the first to come up with porsline which heats the hair shaft from the inside out. (assuming you don't heat it at full blast.) Plus, a lot of them are just porsline plated, not full porsline. My only suggestion is to go to a hair supply place and ask for an adjustable straitner (heat wise that is) that is ceramic. Also use peroligy hair serum. It uses nano technology that penetrates your hair shaft, and blocks out uv and humidity. (It comes in a purple bottle)
i have both the chi and an ion. i always tend to use my ion more because it just seems to work better and myhair doesnt smell burnt after im done... ive been thru A LOT of flat irons.. and the ive noticed, if they don't heat up to at least 440-450... theyre probably not good irons. i'm mixed with black and hispanic so i have curly thick hair too... i'd say the ion...
The white Revlon works really good I have thick curly hair and it straightens it super quick.
CHI
you should get an aquage ceramic flatiron
