What should i do before using a hair straightener to straighten my hair?

do any of you have some tips on that? What should i do before using a hair straightener to straighten my hair?
If you are using an iron, spray a section of the hair you will straighten with a hair protector, specifically made for hair straighteners. Contact any beauty supply store and ask about their best products.

If you are referring to a chemical straightening product, go to a professional that you trust. Never do this on your own. There are too may products that will literally destroy your hair. What should i do before using a hair straightener to straighten my hair?
use a heat activating shampoo and conditioner before touching that straightener. afterwards blow dry your hair then use the straightner as usual. heat activated products release moisture to the hair once heat is introduced to the hair so hair would be protected and moisturized.
condition it
buy a chi iron and you won't need to do anything-it costs a pretty penny, but well worth it
wash and put on some leave in conditioner to leave moisture, what not in ur hair.
Blow it completely dry, then use a good straightening serum, it usually helps.
wash your hair and make sure it is dry. My hair straightener came with some stuff called Chi. You just put a drop on your hand and rub your hands together and then rub in your hair. It feels greasy but it's not. Use the straightener on one section at a time. Your hair will be silky smooth.
Use a certain type of spray that protects your hair from heat. U can buy it frome like Sally's maybe Walmart
Wash your hair,

And when your done put Schwarzkopf leave in treatment on your hair.

And then try blow drying it a bit straight.

Then straighten it.

Its so silky and straight. Thats what i do.

Hope I Helped.
