What is the best hair straightener?

What's the best quality hair straightening iron that works well for thick wavy hair, that is also not too expensive, and is easy to work with. Also I want something that will make your hair poker straight without having to do it more than once to get it looking nice. What is the best hair straightener?

sorry nothing beats ghds, they are the best on the market with a price to match, you can get them cheaper on ebay though. but some of the irons that are out now are just as good in the way of temp which is what gives you the best result, go and ask in a hair suppliers, dont let them talk into buying what they want to sell
BY A CONAIR FLAT IRON AND U'LL BE VERY HAPPY WITH THAT...
Conair makes some really good ceramic straighteners that usually cost about 20 to 30 dollars. The best straightener I've used personally is Ion ceramic straighteners. They usually cost about 200 dollars but if catch them on sale they can be anywhere between 70 and 100 dollars. You can also use straigtening products that help get your hair straighter, like beyond the zone straight shot. Its this cream stuff you put in your hair when its wet that gets your hair real straight. Hope I helped!
nature
GHD is definitely the best and worth the price!
like some said, GHD are great but can be pricey....the best inexpensive one I've used is probably hottools, but I like the ceramic ones better if you don't mind shelling out like 200+ bucks.
i would say ghd
