depending on whether its a professional travel iron or not. the drug store mini irons don't hold heat well. plus even with a professional one (i use the avanti mini travel iron) your sections have to be smaller. i don't take more than 1/2 inch thick 2.5 inch wide sections depending on the tongs. it is all about adjusting to what you have to use. good luck finding your straightner!

Some advice with hair straighteners, please? Neeed help!?
It's been a while since I last used them, and I can't find my actual straighteners %26lt;think may be in the attic haha%26gt; so I have to use these mini travel ones I have.
