Do most hair straighteners straighten wet hair?

No! None of them. Straightening wet hair is not only dangerous (cause an electrical shortage) but it will burn your hair for life. It's like throwing the plugged-in blow dryer in the bath while you are taking it. NOT good. Straightening wet hair can cause a fire and maim or kill you. Be careful! Only use on dry hair.

There are straightening gels and lotions for wet hair, however. Just never, ever use a device that way.Do most hair straighteners straighten wet hair?
Conair makes one that straightens wet hair specifically. Most flat irons will burn the cuticle and eventually cause your hair to fall out. Use a hair dryer first, then go over it with a flat iron.Do most hair straighteners straighten wet hair?
Yes, basically every straightener does. But they dont mention that this is basically the worst thing you can do to your hair. STraightening with wet or even damp hair casues a lot of damage that you probably will never get rid of. Dont try it. Make sure your hair is very dry before straightening. Also, ive noticed if you use a flat iron with straight here, your hair stays straighter longer.
YES BUT NO, DONT TRY IT, U SHOULD OF SEEN MY SISTERS HAIR DUE LIKE THAT HHHAAAAAHHHHHAAAAHAAAAA!!!
yes but they totally destroy your hair if you do that
no, if you do that with a normal streightner it will fry your hair
i think so when i do it it doesnt matter although its best with a blow dryer when wet
No, the ';T3'; has one which you can use on wet hair, though it is expensive.

there is another brand that has it, it's either ';CHI'; or ';Conair';.
Mine doesn't. To make my hair perfectly straight, it has to be thouroughly and totally dry. Otherwise, it just gets humid and sticks to my head.
I think you and your hair is very pretty also you should never straighten your hair with wet hair it will damage your straightner and your hair. I prefer you to shampoo and condition, blow dry comb, then straighten.
I dont really think they do....Thats why straighteners come in a ceramic or one you can straighten wet hair with...i think its best that you dont straighten your hair while its wet with a normal straightener instead get one that actually straightens wet hair....who knows you can even ruin your hair....
ummmmmmmmmm...........i don't think so, u need to dry your hair first, it might damage it...........
No, you have to get a straightener that says its a wet to straight straightener.
hiya

really really bad for your hair if u straighten it when wet, it frys it.

unless you use ones that are designed to straighten wet air n lock in the moisture.

xoxoxo
They will...but this will most likely damage your hair. This will cause steam and is not healthy for your locks. Our hair is damaged enough by our lifestyles these days, so I wouldn't recommend it.
DON'T DO IT! I used Remington's Wet 2 Dry iron, and now my waist-long hair is a thing of the past. It basically boiled it from the inside. I had to get it cut to just my chin to get rid of the damage, and now I'm growing my hair back from scratch. I really miss it and can't wait till it's grown back!
Hell no. If you want a bald head I would go with this method.
NO!!! you have to buy one specifically made to be used on wet hair!! It should say on the packaging if its ok to use on wet hair or not.
your basically boiling your hair off if u do that.. and if you've got blonde hair i think it turns the color to a green
