Can i bring my hair straightener on the plane?

Im only taking a carry on and was wondering if i can take my flat iron on the plane with me bc i dont want it to be taken away.

You may bring your hair straightener in your carryon bag. You deoderant must be less than 3.4 ounces, and it must be enclosed in a zip-top 1-gallon bag if you plan to carry it in the carryon luggage. Any liquids or gels over 3.4 ounces cannot be carried in your carryon luggage and must be checked or discarded, including water bottles (water may be purchased for legal carryon after the security checkpoint).

Yes, a flat iron is fine to bring on the plan. Deodorant is alright too if it's a solid. Carry on restrictions really only apply to liquids or sharp objects. Happy flying!
