No. It heats up to half only. USA's wall outlet is only 110V. Half of Australia's 240V. You can buy step up(110V~240) adapter if available.Will my hair straightener from australia work in the usa?
You will need a currency converter. The problem with that is that alot of appliances don't work well even with a converter. You can probably pick one up pretty cheap while you in the US.
Yes, I'm pretty sure that will work. Just use your adapter and you're ready to straighten! It should heat up properly as well.
Get the adapter. We run things like that on 120 volts.
