Which hair straightener should I get for my hair?

I have very thick, coarse brown hair and i was wondering should i get Gold N Hot or the Chi? right now im using a brand called proselect.Which hair straightener should I get for my hair?
chi is amazing. but they have a fhi too at Sally's.com if you search chi they have they re own brand of it that works just as well for less!! that's what i have, since i have both a chi and a fhiWhich hair straightener should I get for my hair?
i use a revlon wet %26amp; dry one. it was only like 20 bucks but its by far the best straightener ive ever used (and i've been straighting my hair for at least 7years) i seriously cant understand why someone would but a hundred dollar hair straightener when the cheap ones just as well if not better
Have u tried to use the other brand? no matter which brand it is, i think the important part is the quality. then the style..
