you must always use straightening products on your hair before straightening it any brand will doMy hair is so dry from using hair straighteners, what can i use to stop it drying out ?
what i use, because i have really curly hair and i can really damage it when i straighten it, i use this straightening serum by paul Mitchell, it's called super skinny straightening serum.. it really works!!My hair is so dry from using hair straighteners, what can i use to stop it drying out ?
Let it air dry and don't touch it! Let your natural wave/curl stay!
Stop using straightners and start using shampoo's that say they straighten your hair. Like they John Frieda or whatever it's called. It's the one commercial when the girl has pin staright hair one minute and then she has soft curls.
I have this problem. Use serum when your hair is just washed and still wet, and then spray on a heat protector spray. Before you straighten, blow dry it as straight as you can get it, concentrating on the areas around your face and the ends. You can then just run the straighteners over it quickly, minimising damage. Also get it cut every six weeks to cut off the dry ends.
a)hair straioghteners are absolutely dreadful for hair
b)purchase some mosturising hair product thats safe to use
c)stop using straighteners they can make your hair fall out!!!
there are ways of chemicallly straightening your hair making it permenant but by th time you do it, perms will be in fashion
Just stop using the straighteners and accept your hair is curly.
or buy some hair stuff to moisturise it
and DO NOT wash or straighten every day, a good pair of straighteners will keep hairs so straight you dont need to straighten every day
Try to stop using hair straighteners so much.
Use some mousse and scrunch up your hair, do waves, curls, switch it up a bit. Everyone will ADORE it and your hair will too.
hello i have just brought protection from ';gum';, i got it in savers for 3 pounds and its lovely .
try using vo5 hot oils, its done wonders for my bald head!!seriously vo5 works
Use a heat protection spray before straightening hair, and use a shampoo especially for dry hair.
I use the Lee Stafford Poker Straight range and find it really good, smells nice too!
My FAVORITE product for this is Super Skinny by Paul Mitchell. It's a shine serum and you put it in to damp hair before you blow dry. This coats the hair and acts as a heat protectant, as well as adds moisture to the hair since it's basically an oil. Remember only to use a small drop, or your hair will become greasy! It also makes your hair shiny, so that's another plus! Its about $14 a bottle. I have hair to the middle of my back and it lasts me almost a year! Good luck!
u should get a good conditioning treatment or mask such as aussie 3 min mirical. Use at least once a week. u should see an improvement remember to rinse it prop or ur hair will go greasy
You can try either a hot oil treatment or a treatment with avocado to help mosturize your hair. Check out the source site for natural recipes for hair care.

stop starightenin ur hair
Chi silk infusion.!
try using the conditioning heat balms from GHD and loreal
mine is the same.. herbal essense shampoo and conditionier is a good place to start as it really moisturizes your hair. Getting it cut often will get rid of the dry ends and your hair will appear a lot healthier and less dry.. I have also been using Paul Mitchell Strength Treatment Super Strong.. i put it on the ends of my hair and it works so well. It makes my hair feel really healthy and most importantly not dry. Also look for heat protection products that are made for you to put on your hair before you dry or straighten.. it coats the hair with a protective layer which will prevent dryness and damage
First of all I would give it a good cut get rid of some of the dead hair and get a hair reconstructer. I have one that biologe makes and you can use it once or twice a week you can actually buy it at target. Good luck
Do you use heat protection spray/cream? It is always important to use it as it does protect from heat damage, which is why your hair is dry. Usually, you get what you pay for, and there are many products out there.
Also, GHD irons are reknowed for their ability to keep hair in good condition, and to not damage hair as much as other irons.
Remember to only go over each strand of hair no more that twice when you straighten, and try to give your hair a rest from the heat, for as long as you can.
Use a good conditioner with your shampoo, I recommend Head and Shoulders Hydrating Smooth and Silky (if you're in the UK) it is good stuff, and it's affordable too.
In conclusion, try to cut down on the straightening, and when you do, protect with heat protection product. I really hope this helps you :) x happy hair days!
put mayonnaise in your hair, let it sit for a few hours, then rinse.
start using hot oil treatments every one to two weeks and use a heat protectant spray before you straighten your hair.
The best way is to let it air dry from the shower and straighten when its dry. Use a heat protective spray, toni and guy do a good one that smells great. You can also use a hair mask once a week and get your hair trimmed every six - eight weeks.
deep condition your hair once week by lathering repair, or moisture repairing conditioner all over and wrapping plastic wrap around to lock it in, leave in for 30 to 120 minutes depending on dammage, then rinse and air dry
talk to yur hair dresser about a chemical hair treatment. this will permanetaly strengthen your hair for 3 months, so u dont have to do it as often
spray hair oil thats what i do
you want to buy a product that is made for flat ironing like the matrix sleek.look flat iron spray! It work great you just spray it on when you section off your hair. and turn down the heat most ppl have the heat up to high for there hair type, like if your hair is thin then you only need it on a low setting but if it is course and thick then you need it on a higher setting. And another good thing to do is to us a moistrising shampoo and conditoner. the shampoo and conditon from the sleek.look line works great (I use it and i have frizzy curly hair it helps with the frizz and help with the dryness.
you can get spray from boots or superdrug or bodycare that you spray on before you straighten your hair and it protects it from the heat which stops it from drying out!
hi there, what shampoo are you using? try to buy a high quailty from a salon. next step is to blow bry the straghting product into your hair. by doing this you are protecting your hair, also only use straghters 3/4 times a week, also give your hair a deep conditioning treatment 2 times a week, apply a hanna treatment all over, then place a plastic bag on head and towel to keep heat in leave for 5 min then rinse make sure you rinse well as your hair can look greasy, finish rinse with as cool a water as you can stand.
well i use hair straighters every day lol cuz my hair is curly and i hate it. but use panteen pro v. its a great shampoo. get a mosturizing one. and theres lots of after product when you get out of the shower just put it in and leave it in. its also from panteen. goodluck
