Is this hair straightener worth the money?

I've read the reviews at Wal-Mart and most of them seem good. Conair 2'; Professional Ceramic Straightener? Is it worth it? I need a good straightener, one that heats up fast and doesn't rip her hair out, but doesn't make you go over the same spot twenty times. Is this straightener any good?

If not, can you recommend one that isn't ridiculously expensive? Is this hair straightener worth the money?
Generally gold plated straighteners work the best, they give your hair a shiny look and they don't rip your hair out. It heats up very fast and isn't ridiculously expensive. The one I have I purchased at Wal-Mart a few years ago and it works great! Is this hair straightener worth the money?
I use the Remington Wet2Straight Straightener.

I don't recommend using it with wet hair though, maybe just damp.

I like it though because I need that extra heat to tame my wavy hair and make it either pin straight or naturally straight.

It has many settings as for heat, and auto shut off after 30 min. of idle.

I love it and it's only about $30 (give or take sales/coupons)

Good luck with the search though!
I have an ';Andis'; ceramic, and it was only about $20,

it works AMAZING, heats up quick, and doesn't damage my hair.

They should sell it at Wal-Mart!
