i have shoulder length frizzy hair and i'm trying to decide between a 1 inch sedu or a 1.5 inch plate size... which one should i pick?
does the plate size depend on the length of the hair or how curly it is?
should you get a larger plate if ur hair is longer? How do you pick the size of a ceramic plate on a hair straightener?
I suggest you go for the 1 inch sedu, it does not matter about the length of your hair. The smaller the plate of the iron the easier it will be to straighten the roots of your hair. A bigger plate size is good for people with long hair, however if you want your roots to look nice and straight, with out any iron bumps I recommend the 1inch. As far as hair texture that shouldn't factor, sedu is great for any length or hair type! How do you pick the size of a ceramic plate on a hair straightener?
You should get a larger size to cover more area at a time.
The thicker your hair is, the less you need to use (thickness wise) for each chunk of hair you do.
So since you're already slower than someone with fine hair, you want to cover more area at a time.
The length isn't really that important, other than, of course the area coverage as already stated.
i dont think it depends on that.
i had a samll expensive straightner.
and it took forever to use.
i have big wavey hair.
and i went and bought one at walgreens.
and the plate was huge.
and now it takes me ten mintues.
i think it is just how much time you have
and quantiy.
but i dont mind my and its never broken.
