b/c mine goes up to 365. Im not sure if its safe to put it up to that temperature even if its for an african american woman, or if it could burn my hair or not.Does anyone know what the safest temperature to put a hair straightener on?
I think 365 is excessive. Again, it does depend on the coursness of your hair, but my hair straightner goes up to 200 degrees celcius. I think that should be as hot as it should get.Does anyone know what the safest temperature to put a hair straightener on?
well what you should do is put it from the least temp and then what ever tempurature straightens your hair best then you know what 1 it is then then just work up and then when you find the best tempurature then BAM loL:p
U got it hehe
That seems awfully high. You should start out low and increase if its not getting hot enough. I think I use around 170
just before that but do it qucker should be best
Only put it up to 365 if you have really think and curly hair or it will burn your hair.
Because African-American women are more prone to hair breakage, you should put your straightener on the lowest setting that can still get the job done. Excessive heat and heat styling cause split ends and breakage (so also remember to use a heat protectant spray or lotion).
Depends on the texture of your hair......if you have very fine hair use a lower temperature because the excessive heat with fry your hair and break it. Don't use your hot iron everyday.
