I switched my hair straighteners on this morning and the lights are coming on etc but the plates are cold and aren't heating up at all.
Are they completely broken or would an 'operation' help them??Cold hair straighteners?
try an 'operation' before you buy a new 1 but i think it sounds pretty broken to meCold hair straighteners?
Take them to a electronics store and ask them, it might just be the fuse or something, but it could be the whole thing, so I think you should get proffesional advice on it.

Try changing the fuse in the plug. If that doesnt work then youre going to need new ones!
maybe if you took them to a shop some one could fix them for you but i very much doubt it .. id rather just buy sum more.. x
