Advice on hair straighteners ?

I'm looking at straighteners and don't really have a clue what to go for...my hair's curly (and frizzy!) but I don't want it to go like poker straight. I want to spend around 拢40. Just looking at an offer that's on and two that have caught my eye are: Babyliss Pro 230 Straightener, 拢30 and Mark Hill Salon Professional Straight %26amp; Smooth Ceramic Styler, 拢50. Any comments/suggestions? :*Advice on hair straighteners ?
Ceramic straighteners are better for hair, or try those large rollers while you are getting ready to go out. Why bother, people pay $$$ to get perms and you have it free. Get a good razor cut with texturizing, condition ends, use a bit of gel for lift and control and head out the door.Advice on hair straighteners ?
the best STRAIGHTENER for that is the ceramic STRAIGHTENER by amika. there Straighteners are 100% ceramic and the best thing about it is it heats up on the outside too so if you don't like your hair straight then you can curl it back to the way it was. It is about $120 in America but i don't know how much that is in euros but i know its a Little pricey but it is really worth it. also never straighten your hair when ir is wet, dirty or knotty because it will burn your hair. I hope i helped!
I'd have to agree with others - either avoid straightening your hair (as you could ruin it) or ask for a really good pair for xmas - its worth the investment.

I've recently bought the Babyliss Pro 230 Radience straighteners as my hair is thick and wavy - bar far the best ever, but around 拢80.

Below is a link to a site that does price comparisons on them and a link to the new GHD's.And a review.

Hope this helps!
I have not heard anything about Mark Hill Straightenerss. However, my friend has a Babyliss, and I love using hers!

Folica.com has some great reviews on all straighteners.

Here'ss a link to review Babyliss from other users:

Read the customer reviews, and you can look at other brands too!
Cermaic Ones Out Of Them Two DEFO, Because YourHair Does Need To Be Healthy! + My Experience With Babyliss Hasnt Been Successful!!

Or I Would Go For Some FHI Straighteners.

Things To Look for When Buying Hair Straighteners :

#1 Temperature Control (When Roughly Going Over Your Hair You Dont Want 232 Degrees!

#2 The Temperature It Goes Up To, Then You Can Do One Stroke Of Hair And Not Have To Do It Again Repeatedly! Whcih Damages Your Hair!

#3 Cermaic Plates, To Protect Your Hair From Damage!

I Hope This Helped,

xx

Ps Best Answer Please!
Go for the Revlon Ceramic Straightner.

It straightens really good and does not do any damage.

Plus it is only $25 so you can spend your money on something else!
defiantly the ceramic straighteners. they make such a nice smooth look and prevent max heat damage.
I would go for the ceramic straightener. They prevent hair damage better and last a long time.
if you only have 拢40 then go for a pair of second hand or reconditioned GHD's. They are the best and last for ages. or put them on your christmas list. try e-bay for good prices on some
dont straighten your hair, it ruins it! take it from someone who straightens/perms it and has natural curly hair
