dove makes a great one, it comes in a red bottle, and it smells good.

also use the moisturising on in the white and blue bottlee

I'm not sure what products are out there that you can put in for protection but I know if you use it on a lower heat setting or have it on high, but don't hold it in the same place for long then you should be ok.
use a heat protecting spray such as Got 2 be Guardian Angel. also, use a ceramic straightener.:)
