Does the quality of a hair straightener make a significant difference?

i straighten my hair with a cheep 20 dollar k-mart straightener. it gets the job done for me, or at least i think it does. will a more expensive straightener make a difference in the texture or straightness of my hair?Does the quality of a hair straightener make a significant difference?

yes manzani relaxer is good fo all textures of hair, i use it and some of my friends who have that naturly curly kind of kinky hair do also
usually a more expensive one will last longer and straighten your hair faster. it would probably make your hair straighter than if you used a cheaper one
it depends on how hot your current iron gets. 400-450 straightens it the best.
